San Diego Spine & Rehab Reviews (8)

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the closing of our business may have caused you If there was any way feasible that we could have kept our practice opened in order to continue to see all of our patients we would have Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control it was not possible Again we apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help rectify this situation

San Diego Spine and Rehab was put into a prepayment review with Tricare (A major insurance carrier for our Practcie) on April 24, This caused a major delay in payment to the practice which eventually caused a major financial hardship that required the practice to close one of its locations entirely located at Granite Ridge drive San Diego, CA We were able to keep the Oceanside location open however we were not able to pay enough staff to continue to see patients with Tricare insurance So on June 12, we had to temporarily stop seeing any patients with Tricare insurance until we were able to get through this prepayment audit with Tricare We have attempted to call the patient and discuss these details and are still waiting for a return call Please let us know if there is anything else we can do

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business never explained this to me. They gave me other reason, after I had to contact their main office (not the one I visited) Billing office. They never tried to contact me after they refused service to me (only left a voice mail to tell me to stop coming to their offices)That cost me to start "referral" process to see any provider all over again, and delayed my therapy another weeks

Review: Tricare approved this office to start physical therapy on May 28. On June 2 I met with [redacted], the manager on that office to review the contract stating it was all approved and clear to start my treatment. I saw them twice in June 8 & 12 before I went on vacation for 2 weeks, during which time they left me a message stopping and terminating my theraphy. they stated that Tricare did not pay the bill and had since March. I had to go in person in my return to be able to talk to [redacted], the manager, because she did not return my calls in a promptly fashion. I contacted my insurance company, Tricare (which serves the military & retired members) argued that they had not received any billing from San Diego Rehab. [redacted], from S.D. Rehab (7/10) told me to call "Billing" since she knew why her company stated Tricare did not pay; she merely gave me their phone and did not bother to apologize for not returning my calls and telling the real reson of stopping my treatment in such a fashion (I twisted an ankle and had been in pain since last November). I called billing on 7/13 and a manager/supervisor Amber stated first that the reason they showed "no billing" and stopped service was due to their own delay on processing the Claims. then after I argued that that was not a satisfactory reason to stop my service due to their delays, she stated it was due to the future closing of that location. she did not develop more and say why they are closing. She suggested on seeing other providers. I had to start another claim/referral from my doctor, 38 miles away from my home, and started from the start again. finally on July 27 I was approved again to see another physical therapist.Desired Settlement: Be contacted by S. D Rehab to tell me the real reason of terminating my treatment and sharing this with the public, so this won't happen again to other clients.

Review: I went to a military event (Woof Walk) and San Diego Spine & Rehab was there with a booth. They offered a quick complimentary back/shoulder massage which confirmed I have a stiffed muscle strain on my shoulder and lower back. The massage therapist told me to sign up for a free raffle to win an hour massage, which I did. And then a week or two later, I received a letter from them stating I won a free one hour massage. I tried several times to schedule an appointment but they are only open 8am-5pm M-F Finally had an opening that fit my schedule which is 6/17/15 @ 5:30pm that reception [redacted] helped me schedule. And even told me to print and fill out new patient info. And then got a voice message from [redacted] on 6/15/15 stating they actually don't acknowledge the free massage. I tried calling them back and always get a voicemail so I left a voice message to the office manager and mktg communications & left a detailed msg to what happened and to pls call me back for I have been looking fwd to this massage, but never got a call back. The voucher and letter that they sent me have an expiration of July 31,2015 but does not say that they can cancel at anytime. I am really dissapointed. I hope you can help me address this matter to the business and public, they should have never offered a free raffle and led me to believe.Desired Settlement: Honor what they said I won from the raffle.
