San Diego's Park Shuttle & Fly Airport Parking Reviews (4)

Review: We parked our Sprinter Van in the offsite parking lot for a week while on vacation. The attendant directed me back into the space and also was there when we drove the vehicle out of the space. Upon return we noticed two big dents on the driver side door and another dent on the driver side rear quarter panel. The force of the dents were so hard that the paint was taken off. I have called three times in the last week and repeatedly told that a manager will call me. Finally a person called me back from the location and said "too bad, so sad" and that it was not their issue.

The cost to repair the damage is $1,500.Desired Settlement: To repair the damage to my vehicle while it was being stored at San Diego Park, Shuttle & Fly for the amount of $1,500.

Review: On August 8th, 2014, I parked my car at this lot before my flight to Chicago. When I got off the shuttle at the airport, the driver had given my suitcase to another passenger that had gotten off the shuttle before me. I was the last person to exit the shuttle, so I was unaware that another passenger had received my suitcase. When I called San Diego Park, Shuttle, and Fly to tell them what had happened, they placed the blame on me--claiming that I was at fault for helping the driver put my suitcase in the shuttle. They did not apologize or express their concern. I asked to speak to the manager, but he was not available. I gave them my contact information, but nobody ever called me. I called back multiple times but was unable to speak with a supervisor or any type of manager. When I returned to the lot on August 12th, I had to pay the $60 parking fee. I was never offered compensation for my suitcase or parking fee.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate it if the manager would contact me to apologize and compensate me for the $60 parking fee. I also feel like their business practices are unethical.

Review: I valet-parked my car in this lot over the holidays and picked it up on January 4th, 2015. I noticed that the gear shift cover was knocked sideways but was able to snap it back on. I did not say anything to the attendant. I paid the fee and began to drive home. On the way home I noticed that the driver's side view mirror was jiggling. As soon as I got home I inspected the mirror more closely and found that it had been knocked off and glued on. A small drip of glue was even visible. I called the lot. The attendant said to call back the following day when the manager would be in. I called twice on Monday, January 5th, 2015. The manager did not return my phone calls. I called three times on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015. The attendant told me once that the manager was at the back of the lot and could not come to the phone. The next time the attendant said the manager was at lunch. The third time the attendant said I would have to drive down to the lot to speak with the manager. I called again on Saturday, January 10th, 2015, and finally was able to speak to someone. The man told me that the lot would take no responsibility for the damage. He said people regularly make these complaints and the contract clearly states that if the damage is not identified while on the lot, they do not take responsibility. I explained that the damage was not immediately evident as someone had glued the mirror on in an effort to hide the event. He again responded that because I was not able to find the damage while still on the lot, the lot would take no responsibility. I asked who owned the lot. He would not tell me, and he then hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like my mirror to be affixed to my car properly at the expense of the parking lot.

Review: We took a trip to Hawaii and reside in the San Diego area. We decided to use this service to leave our vehicle parked at this location during our trip and flights to and from. We dropped off our car on a Saturday morning and the initial contact was fine. The associate took the keys and provided valet service for our car. Upon return, a week later, we arrived at this facility in the late evening hours. My wife immediately pointed out that the right rear passengers side window was rolled down halfway. We were certain that we did not roll this window down when we dropped it off. Additionally, the adjacent passengers seat was soaked with liquid suspected to be rain water. We brought this to the attention of the attendant and he apologized explaining that they had rolled down the window to air out the car in anticipation of our arrival this evening. He added that they did not take into consideration the likelihood of rain showers this day. We promptly asked to speak with his manager as it was not our intent to pay full price for a service we were not provided. He told us that the manager was not available and insisted that he would make no effort to call one. He did provide me with the managers name and telephone number; however, there was no answer. We were forced to pay full price in order to leave the premises with our car. A subsequent call the following day resulted in an answer; however, this representative was unable to process our request and advised that he would have a manager call me back. It's been over 2 weeks now and nothing. I've since reviewed this company and found - much to my anguish - that they are currently rated F with the Revdex.com. Yelp provides significantly poor reviews as well.Desired Settlement: I paid full price for a service that was not completed as solicited. The water caused damage to not only the seat, but also to the surrounding items including photographs and a map book. I'm requesting a credit adjustment for the incompetence and admitted fault on behalf of this company.
