I recently bought a headboardThey accidentally ordered a footboard, then told me I got a great price for the headboard because it typically costs more and they charged me for just a footboardAs well, it was delayed in delivery since they had to reorder the headboardThen, upon delivery, it turns out the headboard was part of a set, so it didn't connect to the metal bed frame I haveI called to complain because I had asked the salesperson for a headboard only and asked if it had all of the bolts to attach it, and he assured me that it didThe resolution the company came up with was to have someone come drill holes in the headboard to attach it to my bed frame, and sent people back to fix it [redacted] The headboard is barely stable and there are long bolts that poke into my boxspringI am incredibly disappointedI will never buy furniture here again

This has to be the most negative experience I have ever had with a furniture store. Had ordered a furniture set but with a delayed order date. They ordered immediately instead, which meant we needed to pay a fee when we decided to cancel. When we went in and asked for the cancellation fee, the manager gave us the line that we could not cancel - but that he could allow us to do so at a 25% restocking fee if we bought more furniture. After an hour of trying to get a straight answer as to if we could cancel, I finally asked for a copy of the contract. It clearly stated that it could be cancelled at a 25% restocking fee [redacted] I gladly paid my $1000 cancellation fee [redacted] as there is no written records of this interaction - which is the only reason I did not submit a formal complaint. But I will never set foot in a Dufresne store again [redacted]
