for the Hospital MAP program because she was eligible for Medi-Cal. On January 26, 2012, the customer came to our business office with her Medi-Cal card to pay for the visit. Our employee ran the card and it showed that she was not covered by Medi-Cal for May 27, 2011. Our employee explained to the customer that Medi-Cal will not cover the May 27 visit and that she would need to discuss payment options with the County Office of Revenue and Recovery. Hospital policy is to transfer any remaining balance to the Office of Revenue and Recovery after 90 days. The Office of Revenue and Recovery is not a collection agency. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. San Joaquin General Hospital carefully reviews all patient concerns and continually strives to improve patient services. The hospital looks forward to serving you and your family and hopes that this experience will not serve as a barrier in seeking our services for your future healthcare needs.

Review: The hospital sent me to collection while I was in the process of maintaining medical. I took them back all the documents and card to show approval and was still denied because the bill had give to collection.Desired Settlement: I want to set up payments for the balance only after medical.
