HiIn reply to Mr*** complaint on the work done to his Red Camaro here goes are comments:First of all, when the car was brought to our shop, it was towed since the whole engine was disassembled in pieces and he told us it was him who did it and brought it to our shop so that we can assembly
it back and make it work, the originally price we agree at the beginning was $1,but then I decided to give him a discount and agreed on $ 1,that included to "assembly the engine with the parts provided", that price only included labor since we expected only to spend time putting all pieces backHe initially provided $as down payment to start.Now, when we started to work on the car, and had one mechanic assigned to the car full time, we found out parts were missing therefore the job could not be completed, we contacted Mr *** in order to let him know which part was missing, so that he could be aware and approve the purchase/price for the part, this happened several times, and all the time, we had to wait until he had some money available to put it on the car. Among all parts that we had to buy for his car are the following: 03/05/Starter, 03/30/Oil Pump, Radiator Stop Leak, Melling Oil Pump Screen, 04/13/V-Belt, 05/09/ Battery Terminals, he did not bring the car battery so I gave it for freeEvery missing part will increase the total repair price at the end.After seeing that he was unable to afford all the expenses for the car, and not getting feedback from him, we asked him to arrange to drop the car at his place but he had to pay all the expenses we had incurred, that also took some time and he finally gave us a payment of $(05/29/2015) which we agreed since he told us we were going to receive the remaining later.So far he has only paid $as down payment , then $on 4/21/and $on 05/29/making a total of $ He still owes us money, that's why we could have not given him a receipt showing he has paid in full. Now, regarding the transmission, it's something we had not worked on, since the car was never running on the road, and we were not requested to work on that, when he tried to pick up the car on 05/and the engine was started and then moved the car, we noticed the transmission was missing the speed sensor, we told him, he needed to buy it and asked us to get it for him, but later he changed his mind and we had to return itLater he agreed to have the car dropped at his mother location in the conditions the car was. When the car was dropped at his mother location, she open the garage and witnessed the procedure, at any time we did not run on any bike or hit any garage, otherwise she could had told us that in that moment The towing of the car has not been paid either.For the windshield he mentioned, we cannot guarantee security or damages to cars parked out of our shops, specially this one that was here for more then months, on which we did not charge for storage. As of today, we have not heard of him, and he has not contacted us to settle down payment in full, and its a customer we do not want to work anymore.Let me know if you need anything else, since we have original of invoices for car parts and receipts for the payments he did.
