Review: We rented two ATVs and a trailer from Sand & Sea Toys in Anaheim for the weekend, November 22, 2013 November 25, 2013. We had that faulty trailer that Sand & Sea rented to me with two quad motorcycles on it. The trailer broke down while we were pulling into our parents drive in the city of Arroyo Grande. We were forced to drive an hour out of our way to secure a U-Haul trailer at the insistence of the owner of Sand &Sea [redacted] so we could bring back the two ATVs for the busiest weekend of the year. We showed [redacted] pictures proving that rear left wheel completely fell off due to extensive rust. [redacted] reimbursed us for the rental price of the U-Haul and promised to have the trailer removed within two days. Per [redacted] this was the first time he had rented this newly acquired trailer out to anyone, it is plain that no safety check or inspection was completed on this. It has been 16 days and we have yet to hear what the plan is to pick up the trailer and remove it from the property. We have called several times and we were even hung up on today by one of the employees. This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved NOW my parents need this out of their driveway. It is clear in the pictures and the owner [redacted] agreed that the trailer broke because of extensive rust. Today prior to hanging up one of the employees stated to me that this was our fault and we would be charged for the cost of the trailer.Desired Settlement: We would like the trailer removed immediately, also Sand & Sea needs to pay us a daily storage fees, mileage and any other incurred expenses to have this trailer removed.or Sand & Sea needs to refund all of our money $590.00 and turn over the registration and title for the trailer so we can dispose of it.
