I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while Home Evolution did resolve this issue, they have unfortunately misrepresented the truth in their response. 1.      Home Evolution WAS aware that my partner and I have different last names.  Not only was it written on the contract in front of both of us on our dining room table, but Home Evolution also cashed BOTH checks issued from our JOINT account with both of our names on it.  The only way they ever saw our names written were separately; they would have never seen our names written any other way.  While they did resolve this piece of it the first time I called, I would just prefer they tell the truth that it was a simple mistake instead of try to lie and say that they “were not aware.”2.      I believe the zip code was incorrect on the invoice and “rd.” was written instead of “terrace” on our warranty.  But this just proves my point that the company pays no attention to detail.  As I have stated earlier, they had our proper address on our contract and our 2 joint checks we sent them and they obviously had our address since they came out to our house twice (once for the consultation and then again to actually do the work), so they can’t possibly argue here that they “didn’t know” our address. 3.      I still do not understand how sending back the warranty with the incorrect information would have solved the problem.  Both the invoice and warranty were just pieces of paper and they sent me a new one when they corrected our names, I don’t understand why they wanted me to physically send back a paper that was wrong, that wouldn’t have fixed it. P.S.  The company was also unaware that we needed these documents in order for us to register our warranty online.  They kept telling us that we didn’t need these papers, that we needed to register online, but they were clearly unaware that we needed to upload copies within 60 days of installation in order to be covered under the warranty.  Unfortunately this only gave us 2 weeks to register online after we finally received the corrected documents.

This complaint was a misunderstanding, that was resolved within an hour. Home Evolution was not aware that both partners had different last-names. After sending invoice and warranty packet for the first time, Home Evolution was notified that customers have different last-names which was corrected...

right away. When it was know to us that zip code on the warranty packet was not correct, Home Evolution had advised customer to simply send back the warranty packet in order for us to make correction. Home Evolution values their customers and likes to provide great customer service.
