Complaint[redacted], owner of company did not complete job. He was paid in full after he did portion of agreement & never returned.I contacted [redacted], owner of Sandhills Pest Control to remove bat from interior of my home, which he did with little effort. I also had 4 bats on eave vent outside & he suggested he would cover with wire & spray for disease (?) - I spoke with him in regard to chimney swifts which I had a problem with last spring. He agreed that he would install screen on chimney opening to prevent birds from nesting. All of these services were to cost $350.00. He returned a couple of days later on 2/26/15 & covered 2 eaves vents with wire. He stated ground was too wet to use ladder in chimney area & would return following week. He was paid in full by check on 2/26/15 with understanding he would return to complete job. I have tried to reach him by phone many times & sent numerous text messages. He has only responded by text once, on 3/26/15 and said weather had not been favorable & he would complete job the following week. When he was a "no show" once again I started calling & leaving messages & he has not called back. I now have chimney swifts nesting in my flue so I have to deal with nuisance of that until they leave the nest in sbout 6 weeks. Desired Settlement I would like refund of $150 from $350 payment which it will be my cost to have someone complete the job after the chimney swifts have finished nesting.
