Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The keys were NOT in the house as reported by business. We were NOT informed the key was non refundable. We could NOT retrieve the key. It is total rubbish that the key cannot be reprogrammed. The staff were totally unwilling to work with us in any way, and if fact, the general manager was down right rude. I will continue to spread the word to friends who are interested in Coopers that this agency is totally unsatisfactory. I do not accept their explanation. *** ***

I apologize if the information that was communicated to us form the owner of the car was incorrect Regardless, the key is not a refundable part as dictated on the documentation I included As far as it being rubbish that the key can't be reprogrammed that is from the factory (who makes the key) not us
I will speak to my General Manager regarding his rude behavior I apologize if you were treated poorly
Sincerely,

The car was stickered that it was certified by accident but we realized this error before the transaction took place We did not sell the car represented as a Certified vehicleThe claim that the brakes and clutch were bad at delivery are not true My Tech took measurements that are
documented The front brakes had 6mm of pad left and the rear had 7mm We put new tires on the car The real issue is these are wear items and the car has been driven 12,miles (documented in October when the clutch was replaced) The miles driven is also the reason that we are not going to participate in the replacement of tires and brakes.Thank you, Ken K***Director of Operations Sandia Automotive Corp

Keys are special ordered coded parts that are non-refundable which is stated on our invoices (see attached) The customer was house sitting and claimed they lost the owner's key and needed us to replace it Typically we are required to have proof of ownership to order but we agreed to go
ahead and get the key if proof of ownership was supplied at pick up Our understanding was that they ended up speaking with the car owner who informed them where the key was in the house It's an unfortunate scenario that the key was then not needed but I have no option to return the key to the factory so I cannot refund the charge.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
As you can obviously notice, the invoice does NOT have my signature.  I paid for the key BEFORE the invoice was given to me, and it was not relayed to me that the key was non refundable.
The owners NEVER told us the key was in the drawer, and indeed it was not.  You are lying!  Also, it is up to the agency to deal with the key makers, not your CUSTOMERS.  They are lying to you that the key cannot be reprogrammed.  Perhaps you should seek an alternative distributor.  In good conscious, ad with the usual trying to please your customer, I would think you would give us a refund.  Losing many potential customers is certainly worth more than $226. to you.  I reject your response, as you indeed lied saying the owners had alerted us the keys were in the drawer at the house and that you took my money BEFORE giving me the invoice which alerts that the key is non refundable.  I will continue to protest.
