Review: I would like to file a complaint against Sandoval Dental. I had a crown put on a back tooth just over 2 years ago. The crown fell off in January and now the tooth is falling apart as well (with the remainder of the tooth falling apart yesterday, October 15th). I was told by my new dentist that the crown should have had a post core build up etc or the crown would not have lasted. I don't believe that this was ever done. I now have new dental insurance and they will not cover a new crown, etc because it is considered a pre-existing condition and it should have lasted up to ten years. When I contacted Sandoval after this happened, I was told they couldn't do anything about it and asked if I still had the crown (which I did not because I swallowed part of it, and threw the other part out). I did not think they could do anything with it. I was basically told I was out of luck. The interesting thing about this office is that every time you went in for one procedure, they would come up with new procedures that surprisingly were never found during your initial exam, cleaning, x rays, etc. It seemed that everything would snowball. It was amazing how I have never had so much dental work done until I went to this provider. In speaking with several other patients, I was shocked to find that this seems to be a common practice with this provider. I would have a cavity filled and several weeks later, the tooth would break then something else would happen. I personally think this provider is screwing his patients with "fake" issues and problems.Desired Settlement: All I want is for the tooth to be fixed. If I paid out all this money the first go round, it certainly should have had a longer life span than two years. I think it was a way to have me come back so they could screw me for more money.
