This complaint is against Sandra’s Nursing Services LLC,
I am 49 on Wednesday January 31st.
I have end stage COPD and Medicaid approved me for a nursing services for assistance with nursing aides. My sister was an RN and my Great Aunt was an RN. I know about nursing assistant, and RN’s.
The RN that the Sandra’s Nursing Services LLC is my second company. The work I need done is cleaning I can still bath myself and cook quick meals. My issue is with with walking around and doing chores around the house I can not do anymore. I went through four nursing assistants. One went
to the grocery store for me and forgot, yeas right forget a bag full of groceries, I will say Sandra did pay me for the groceries stolen. Then another one stole a valuable necklace and then replanted it after my friend and I search my apartment four times going through all of my apartment, which is a task that caused me to be in bed for days after each search. They told me they cleaned but they never actually did aNothing of the sort. She discriminated against thinking I was a racist because I complained about how they were not doing what they were supposed to do. One of the nurses actually said to me I am not your slave after she had been on her phone for two hours in the kitchen and was eating my food that I can barely pay for. The RN from this company was fantastic very friendly did her job and told me if anything happens you call me. I did not treat any one unfairly I simply asked them to do what they came for. I am currently having a case manager from Montgomery County,Md. Germantown Md
The way she talked to me had me believing that the problem was mine all I asked for them to do their job! So I would not recommend this service to anyone. I ended up sitting in my kitchen with a clean mop doing the walls, the trash receptacles the refrigerator and I passed out twice trying to accomplish to clean the kitchen they said was clean but was in horrific state.

From: <***@***.net>Date: Wed, Mar 11, 2020 at 3:06 PMSubject: Response to complaint # ***To: <***@myRevdex.com.org>Good Afternoon ***,This complaint that was issued by *** is filled with many untruths. *** was a participant in the state's Home and Community medicaid waiver program. She received personal assistance services from our company for approximately two months. We never provided her with certified nursing assistant a as it was not a requirement of the program. All of our staff were personal care aides. The first aide did go grocery shopping for her and she did forget two of her bags of groceries in her car. When *** notified me of her missing items I immediately called the aide to ask her to double check her car. That aide did and reported that she did have two bags of ***'s from the previous night shopping trip. This aide immediately brought those items to our office and stated that there were two perishable items that would need to be replaced. The pca gave me the money to replace these items, I then called *** to ask her how much money did she originally give this aide to do her grocery shopping, she told me and that afternoon I took her the entire amount of money that she originally gave to our pca to do the shopping and gave her all of the other nonperishable items. I never sent that pca back to provide aide services to her. There were no groceries stolen as she stated in her letter In her next statement she accused the previous aide of stealing a necklace from her but later found it in her home. When she called me to make this allegation of theft,I told her that she would need to notify law enforcement of this allegation and that we will fully cooperate with whatever law enforcement requested of us. I also told her that our company has a dishonesty bond on all of our staff and if indeed that our aide were found guilty then our dishonesty bond would reimburse her for the loss of the necklace. I also completed a reportable ev6 report and sent it to her case manager as we are required to do by the state of Maryland. In addition over the next few days I followed up with her to see if the necklace had been found and if she had followed through with notifying law enforcement. Also during that time she had a new pca who on several occasions she stated that she was pleased with and self reported that she got along well with. I nor anyone of my staff ever accused her of being racist. Finally as far as *** not receing services on some days is because she often tried to reschedule staff if she had appointments to go see her various pain management doctors. No one stole food from her. She reported that she offered food that "she wouldn't eat" to one of our staff named Dana S and reportedly Dana accepted it. Our company policy is and has always been to not accept any sort of gifts of food and or money or of any type from any of our participants and because Dana had done so I relieved her of her duties with this participant. I also asked *** to give me a guesstimate of the cost of all foods that she had given to Dana, she estimatex it at $25 and on that same day I notified Dana of the above and told her that she needed to take $25 to *** immediately and she did so. After one last aide,I decided that we could no longer provide services to *** for a variety of reasons. I notified her Case manager and she was transferred to another agency. Our company does not provide house cleaning as a services and it is not a requirement of the program. It does require that our aides provide light housekeeping and they did. We have no intention of returning any monies to the state as we provided the services that we were supposed to provide.

Sincerely, Sandra R,RN,BSN
