mentioned is that these services were of no charge. Please see customers invoice. Three, All work was during a two and a half week period, not one week. Four, no refusal was made as to materials used. This demand came two weeks after completion. Work was started on 6/03/15 and restarted on 6/29/15 through 7/13/15.Existing conditions: all areas in paint failure which is peeling, separating from layers and many deposits of black and green mold throughout. Also many areas are in the state of chalk. Five estimates were submitted. One, complete exterior painting. Two, trim and fascias only. Three, dry rot and spot prime only. Four, gate at the driveway with attachments. Five, floor refinishing. When the dry rot work was started, many discoveries of active termites became visible. We suggested a termite or insect control company be called. Homeowner refused. The homeowner then engaged us to repair all termite damage, all dry rot damage, prime and paint three sides of the house. Note, the customer added lx4 vertical trim at all inside and outside corners, some badly damaged windows, and a cupula. Dry rot areas were treated with chlorine, wood hardener and had deck screws installed to anchor Bondo for repairs. All fascias received electric sanding and electric grinders where necessary due to concave positions. All areas were primed and painted correctly. Please see customer's invoice. -This customer states in her letter to you that all work was excellent. The work is excellent, smooth, clean, and free of brush marks, drips or runs.Materials used from stock: cover stain primer by Rustoleum, red rust inhibitive primer, Bondo, white caulk, concrete caulk, rags, thinner, lacquer thinner, painter's plastic, masking tape, sand paper (60,80,100,220 grit size), white Swiss coffee semi-gloss, and black gloss enamel. The white semi-gloss is supplied by Glidden/Devoe, black enamel by Rustoleum, Total material costs are about $1,500. A percentage of that is to cover tools that wear out eventually ie, ladders, brushes, electric sanders, and drop clothes. Our labor is figured at $50 per hour per man. These are the systems used to determine the estimate supplied to the homeowner. I have no further information to supply.M[redacted]
