Mike [redacted] was the general contractor for our main floor renovation. A new kitchen (cupboards, sink and taps, counter tops, fridge, stove, dishwasher) was installed.
Mike kept us informed and did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. He kept us informed at all stages. If something came up which was not in the contract, Mike gave us alternatives.
We would highly recommend Sandstone Associates.
I have worked with this company on two separate renovations in two different houses and would not hesitate to hire them again if/when we do further renovations. We first worked with Sandstone in 2010 on an extensive renovation which included two bathrooms, hardwood installation, exterior, deck, carpet, trim and paint. Mike and John were great to deal with and the work that was done was very professional. The second renovation was a bathroom in 2014. This renovation was done ahead of time and once again the work was extremely professional. Mike was very good at keeping me informed of progress and what work was happening when. I am very happy with the end result of all the renovations done.
