First thing Monday morning, I contacted the manufacturer and ordered the headboardI was assured that it would ship out in time for Christmas and conveyed this to Mrs [redacted] Unfortunately, this did not happenI personally contacted the manufacturer well over a dozen times regarding the headboardApparently, they lost all of their inventory in a floodThey are located in South CarolinaThey still assured me they would have it made and shipped out in time for ChristmasTo make a long story short, the "cutting date" for the grouping was repeatedly pushed backWhenever I received any updates from the manufacturer I relayed the information to Mrs [redacted] Unfortunately, sometimes furniture takes longer than anticipated to come in and when this happens it is completely out of our controlAs a furniture store and a salesperson, this is one of our worst nightmaresWe certainly want all of our customers to receive their furniture in a timely, expected manner.The good news is that the headboard did finally arrive to us and the owner is personally delivering it tomorrow(Sunday) We are very sorry for what happened in Mrs [redacted] 's case and hope this resolves the issue
