In response to the complaint alleged by Mrs [redacted]We ackonowledge that it is possible that the surface scratches on the door illustrated in the picture, may have resulted from the light weight plastic coated chain and 2" padlock that was required to secure the two doors.  Securing the...

door with our own locking devices is required as part of the label requirments when applying the fumigant and is considered a necessary and normal part of the fumigation operation.  Our contract that the client agreed to and signed has a clause that was initialed by the client, that ackowledges that Sandwich Isle is not responsible for damage sustained to the property during the normal procdures required for tent fumigation.  These surface scratches identified may have been the result of the process of securing the doors as part of the standard procedure required for tent fumigation, however, they do not reflect poor workmanship or careless work behaviour.We interviewed all Sandwich Isle emplo[redacted]s involved with the fumigation at this location, and nobody agreed that they admitted fault to the client as indicated in the clients complaint.  We did offer the client $200 as a gesture of good faith, which the client refused.We do not believe that Sandwich Isle is liable for the repairs requested by the client, we do however, still offer $200 as a gesture of good faith to the client.SIncerelyMichael B[redacted]President
