I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[I am not happy with the response from him but I knew from that night how he was.  Maybe coupons are not his thing but once you put one out there he should make sure it is printed and done how he wants.  Yes the police did say to make sure to pay the tab because we did eat. For the record we were not going to skip out on the bill because we did eat. But he forgot to mention when the police told him to make sure that he prints a coupon that it says everything. Then they turned to me and said I can take him to small claims court. All we wanted is for him to honor the coupons or give me my money back for the coupons I paid.  I can not believe a owner of a business does not care about losing business over coupons that he will not honor.  That tells you what type of business he is running. I have read some of his reviews online and see he has always had problems with coupons.  I did contact be our guest were I purchased the coupon and they did update the coupon to say 1 per visit per table.  Which was not on there at the time of our purchase. I guess he does not are about his customers or his business!!! ]

Review: I purchase 2 of the vouchers for Sanfillipos Resturant on 5th ave. And my husband purchased 2. It says 20.00 off 2 diners. It was our sons birthday so we decided to go take a few of his friends and there parents. We asked the server, who was great if we could use these coupons, he said yes. So we ordered all our food we ate had a great time. Well when it was time to pay he gave me the bill I gave him the coupons no were on the coupon does it say 1 per table or 1 per visit well he asked the owner who is the cook he said no you can not use them. I asked to speak with him he said no. I told the waiter I need to talk to him he asked him again he answered NO. The waiter appoligized and said I am sorry he is always like this with customers. So I asked nicely at the counter if he could please come out and explain to me why we can not use them he got so mad he came out infront of everyone and said NO YOU CAN NOT USE THEM ONLY 1. I said well I aksed and before and they said yes. He Replied 1 per table which does not say that on be our guest paper. He said he does not care. Now he is yelling at me in front of everyone so my husband gets up and told him he needs to calm down. So I told him it was not fair and if he could split check, he yelled READ THE [redacted] MENU ONLY 1 CHECK PER TABLE. WOW! I can not believe a owner just said that well the resturant went quite and our party was mad now. So I told him I wanted my 40.00 off since I already purchase through Fox 5 he said no. I told him I bought 4 which should give me 80.00 off but just give me 40 for what I paid he said NO. So I was very upset at this time and he said pay and leave I said no so he called the cops. When cops came after 45 min because it was no emergency they said there is nothing they can do. I had to pay all my bill and since it is his coupon he does not have to honor coupons then he turned to owner and told him not to do advertising with coupons anymore and to write 1 per tableDesired Settlement: I purchased these from FOX 5 be our guest all I want is a refund on my 3 that I was not able to use. I purchased 2 at 10.00 a piece for 20 dollars off each bill which would have been 40 off then my husband purchased 2 so that is 40.00 total we purchased for 80.00 worth of food. We used 1 so if we could just get our 30.00 that we paid to fox 5 that would be great. We will never return to that resturant.

This is [redacted] manager proprietor for Sanfilippo italian restaurant as I was working in the kitchen the night of the incident the server came to me to show me the coupon I told him this was something that we just started to accept .at the end of the dinner when the customers had to pay the waiter came to me showing me the total of 4 coupons I told him that we only except one per table .at this time he relayed the message to The customers to which they requested to see me this was a very busy night I told the waiter to let the customers know what the situation was they didn't like it they needed to see me . after about 10 minutes I went out there to explain the situation they didn't like the explanation they kept saying we need to print everything on the coupon I told them if they would've read the menu it says on our menu which is our house policy that we only except one coupon per table she could've also mentioned that she had 4 coupons at the beginning of the ordering and not when it was time to pay and I told the waiter we would not except split checks at this time. She was very insistent and persistent and very rude as they waited for me to come out and speak with them when they couldn't get their way and I walked back into the kitchen after them cussing at me she suggested she would call the police I told her not to worry that I would make the phone call while we're waiting for the police to get here her husband kept getting up to the counter and yelling through the whole restaurant to come out and handle my business they were very rude as they were sitting there waiting for the police to come in .when the police got here he explained to her they were responsible for their tab and there was nothing else they can do the only thing she can do is request a refund I kept explaining to the lady that whoever she bought it from is who she's going to get the refund from just because it was at my restaurant didn't mean I had to give her the refund customers that are unruly and some other guests using profanity at me I will not do anything for her at this point if I see her coming in I will throw her out The only thing that we can do for her is suggest that she goes to who she bought the coupons from and request for refund that is it. It's too bad her and her party wasn't as nice as when the police showed up and spoke to them in that manner. One would think this is probably not her first time out or trying to purchase something with the coupon and I don't know anyone that takes multiple coupons so my suggestion is that she present all coupons before so they can explain to her what they can do and what they can do for her this would alleviate a lot of headaches unfortunately we have to take the 5% of the customers that don't understand refuse to understand try to take advantage of or just plain ignorant The other 95% do play by the rules
