system was repaired on 10/6/15 just at the end of the watering season. The drip zone is not working upon starting the system. No shows for repair. Called this co. last year for a repair estimate instead they fixed the system and a drip zone without providing an estimate, and my authorization. I asked for estimate repeatedly at the time even told their crew not to fix until they provide an estimate and have approval. They didn't listen, fixed the system, install the drip zone and gave me an inflated bill after the repair. Immediately after, I turned of the system, removed the back flow for Winter. At the start of the season, they drip zone is not working, the water is not going to the trees. I called this company and the lady first told me that they will come after 2 weeks. Once it was a over a month, I called again and she is asking for fee to just come and look at it. They are not standing by their warranty and promise.Desired SettlementRepair my drip zone so, the trees/bushes get the water. This is why I paid them in Oct, 2015.Business Response The customer called last year regarding his system not working properly. I advised him that we DO NOT give estimates for repairs however would be more than happy to come out and check on the system and repair if needed. Repairs were made and system was up and running prior to us leaving site. Customer was aware of repairs. Customer felt that he should decide on what we should charge and thought our prices were too high. We went back and forth and made adjustments in order to please him and ACCOMODATE! We in no way are out to take advantage of any customer!! Customer winterizes his system himself. Customer calls back 5/9/16 asking us to check the drip tubing as it had a high pressure area in the center. I informed him that it would be about 2-3 weeks and wanted us to come up and check the system at no charge. On his invoice he was given last year it stated "Irrigation Repairs: We warranty all parts/labor by [redacted] excluding backflow/pump/drip tubing for one year. Any manufactured parts that are damaged due to defect or malfunction will be billed a service call only. Excludes negligence, acts of God (lightning/severe weather/extreme temperatures, etc.), vandalism (head run over by lawn mower, etc). All heads adjusted for adequate spraying prior to completion". I advised him that we would be happy to come up and check on the system for a service call fee of $85. If the drip was needing to be fixed, additional fees would apply as we received several snow storms this past winter and drip tubing is highly sensitive to cold temperatures. Customer continued to argue with me (the lady) without coming to an agreement and I explained to him that we can come out and repair and discuss once again payment prior to us coming out. We have received excess amounts of rain in our area which I wish we could work in but in the outside work field it can be impossible at times. This put us behind. Customer calls back 6/10/16 asking what the status was and continues to argue regarding what he should receive at no charge however is explained above. Advised me that he would be in contact with Revdex.com. I told him we could come out this week to repair and explained the cost again. If customer is able to agree on payment for services when rendered, we will be more than happy to fix the drip. Message left with customer today stating we would be more than happy to repair tomorrow. Consumer Response As I explained in my original complaint that the work in October was performed without an estimate and my authorization. It was a hassle for to deal with a hefty bill and I paid it. Just for the drip zone alone I paid $160 so, now the owner's wife left me a message saying that I need to pay them $85 dollars just for them to look at it today. Just because they will be in the area. This is a bizarre response. I need them to come and fix the drip zone that the incorrectly installed and intentionally put this claimer on the bill after the fact. If I had an estimate with this disclaimer then I would have never gone with this company. My trees are dying because of lack of water. And if the drip zone is not fixed by them without any charge then I will have to claim damages for the trees and items associated with it. Final Business Response As explained before, we are more than happy to come out and repair the drip. The drip was working when we installed it last year. With any call for servicing of systems we charge a fee as the same would happen if someone had there dryer or refrigerator looked at. Now if we come and find it to be a fault of the tubing not related to weather, cuts, etc., we would fix without payment issues.
