I was very disappointed with my whole experience buying my first homeThere was no ongoing communication, getting answers was like pulling teeth! We were not told ahead of time what kind of information or documents we were going to need to gather or produce, which in turn cost us more money to get them expedited at the last minuteI really am greatful to Jim for getting us financed, but the entire experience would have been so much better if we had been informed and knew what we were up against, and approximately how much time it would takeAt no point did anyone sit us down and say here's the deal, we're going to need a, b and c and d, and then we have to whatever and then we will have to keep saving because., and so onInstead we called and got no answer or were told I'll get back to you, after I talk with Harry, and that call never comesTime is not stopping, and we have run out of it several times, and had to file an extension and get extensions on extension, because nobody will communicate not even with my realtor to tell us how much more time is neededThis last extension cost me $500, unrefundable, to the seller because they are about ready to put their house back on the market, and threatened to do so if I didn't payWhy, because no one is talking to them either!!! And now we are at the end of the road and I pray that this goes through in time because if I lose my money that I have on the table I will be seeking restitution Oh I forgot the earnest money is now unrefundable too, as one of the many conditions for the extensions!
