Sanofi-Aventis U.S. Reviews (10)

Not a good company. Appears very disorganized & uncaring towards patients taking Aubagio. Would not recommend Aubagio bc the lack of support MS patients are getting from this company. I have seen appalling following up as it pertains to getting medication to patients.

Review: As prescribed by my physician, I purchased an Auvi-Q Injection Solution Auto-Injector from [redacted] pharmacy. My insurance company, [redacted] approved. Shortly thereafter, in October 2015, I received notice of a recall of the device from [redacted] and later in November from [redacted] As per instructions, I called Sanofi and received a FedEx envelope and further instructions for return and refund. I immediately returned the item along with a copy of my receipt from the pharmacy. All of this took place in October. Today, January 15, I called Sanofi to inquire about my refund. The rep indicated she could not find me in the data base and without my FedEx tracking number, she could do nothing further. Unfortunately, I did not keep the tracking number. However, since Sanofi sent the packet to me, and I provided the return along with documentation of the purchase, I am requesting assistance in expediting the refund I am due for this faulty product.Desired Settlement: Full refund of money paid for auto injector.

Review: I have purchased 8 of AUVI –Q products. However, I had realized that all of them expire in approximately in 6 months rather than 1 year. I had contacted a pharmacist about month later and requested products that carry one (1) year expiration date. Please note that the label from the store had ONE YEAR EXPIRATION DATE. The pharmacist informed that the AUVI –Q product carries a short expiration and that I may contact the Sanofi directly.

The company provides me coupons which covers up to $400 to replace the product. However, the actual cost of the medication is around $600 hundred, therefore, it cost me additional $1,600 hundred dollars to replace all 8 medications. The company should cover an actual cost of the product because I already paid for them.Desired Settlement: Cover actual cost of the medication or replace them at no cost to consumer

Review: If you want to unsubsribe from this business on their website, they deny your request by not accepting your email address. You receive a message stating that your email is in-correct and that you have to fill in more information which includes your address and zip code. They also provide a phone number to call to have it removed. I called the number and they asked for my first and last name and zip code. Then they gave me a confirmation number that it will be removed.Desired Settlement: They should not be allowed to request this information if you are simply wanting to opt out of receiving their emails. This is a violation of privacy in that I have to provide my full name and zip code.

Review: My son has a peanut allergy in which he is required to carry the Auvi-Q epinephrine injection, We purchase the injection and cannot find a expiration date longer than 6 months. In contacting the company and FDA their expiration date is 2 years. Yet we cannot find a pharmacy that can locate a expiration date over 6 months from their distributors. This is a very expensive item, approximately $300, I am not disputing the cost but do not want to replace this product every 6 months. This is not the first time this happened.I have contacted the company and have done nothing. They told me it is a distribution issue, however, if customers need to replace this product every 6 months their sales increase exponentiallyDesired Settlement: I would just like to receive a product with the allowed expiration of 2 years or at least close to it. This happened to us three times over the past 18 months and is becoming too expensive to replace every 6 months

Review: On Oct 28, 2015, Sanofi issue a recall on off their products Auvi-Q. As part of the recall, they told customers to buy replacement medicines from a competitors product and they would reimburse (https://www.auvi-q.com/licensing-announcement)https://www.auvi-q.com/recall-ret... I followed the processed and they issued a check with the wrong name on it. Because the check had the wrong name, I could not cash the check. I have been working with Shawna at [redacted]for about two months to get replacement check with correct name. I have been told twice the check was in the next check run and it should be there. I have been told numerous times I would receive a call back and never received call backs. Latest info I am being told is mgmt is working on it.. I have been waiting since November to get reimbursed 1244.70 and getting the run around. I can provide RID#.Desired Settlement: I would like my $1244.70.

Review: Sanofi U.S. has made a false claim that they offer a benefit card in which the consumer pays no more that $25 for a prescription of a certain diabetes drug. After completing all the information online in order to get this "benefit" card to help pay for my minor son's medication, the card was rejected at the pharmacy I use. It was rejected because the benefit did not work, the pharmacy does accept supplemental medication cards/coupons.

I did pay my full price for the medication (my price after insurance), even though the claim on the card clearly states that that card benefit "Pay No More Than $25 For [redacted]" (which is the item my son uses).

I contacted Sanofi U.S. to find out why this card did not work, was told there are "many moving parts" to this "benefit". Those "moving parts" are not stated, the claim on the website is completely FALSE. This is a scam to retrieve information and build false hope to consumers.

My son is Type 1 diabetic, insulin dependent. He needs medication and supplies on a daily basis, this is costly to our family, even with insurance. I thought I was getting a little financial help with this "benefit" card, after finally getting a hold of a customer service rep., I find out this "card" is completely useless, there is no benefit, it is complicated and unstated on the website, there is false advertising on the website and benefit card.

eDesired Settlement: This company needs to stop with the false advertising, needs to stop pretending they are helping any consumer, because they are not.

I would like what was stated in the "benefit" card. I paid $45 for the prescription, I would like a refund of $20 to honor what was stated on the website and "benefit" card: "Pay No More $25 for [redacted]

Yes they are actually getting worse. For over 8 years I used my card to pay a $75 copay or a 0 copay. But, this week I went to pick up my insulin and was told I needed to pay $99for one months supply. I was never notified by the reps of Sanofi’s patient assistant program. My insurance doesn’t cover my insulin Pins any more. So, I am stuck right now. I’m filing a federal complaint.

Review: Sanofi recently recalled one of their products - Auvi-Q (https://www.auvi-q.com/?s_mcid=AVQCO23995EM#ai) due to "potential inaccurate dosage delivery". The product is faulty and life threatening and they will only reimburse a replacement epi-pen from a different company that happens to be a significantly lower cost item. My replacement will be $40 compared to the $368.43 out of pocket expense for their defective product. This is unethical and does not replace my costs of buying their recalled product.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is for full reimbursement of the price I paid for their product.

Review: I purchased there product "Nasacort Allergy 120 use" and found the product defective as I had to re-prime the unit daily, so instead of getting the 120 uses I paid for I would end up getting less than 60 uses, I contacted the company and received a postage paid mailer and I sent the defective unit back on 4-9-14. I have not received a replacement or had any contact with them. I have left 3 voice mails and no one will respond.

PTC# [redacted], ACES# [redacted].Desired Settlement: Replace Nasacort Allergy 24HR OTC 120 Use.
