Our rates for days Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm are less because we are open. We close Monday thru Friday at 5pm and are closed on weekends and holidays. On these days an $80.00 gate fee is charged. There is also a $45 storage fee charged for any car still in impound after the first 24 hours. I do not work weekdays and I apologized that I was not able to confirm her total for the following day. With all the fee differences I did not want to quote her a wrong fee, when she was upset already. After going back and forth with a person who was clearly irritated and would not accept anything I said, I advised her to come back the next morning so that my manager [redacted] could assist her. She then called the Santa Ana Police department saying that I refused to give her car to her. The police did not come and I do not know if she was truly on the phone with them. As for the new sign that was in clear view but not hung up in place of the other, I apologized once again, letting her know I am not a handy man and would not be able toHer father was with her and did not speak English very well. They had a heated argument amongst themselves in their native language and took their conversation outside.
