called Mr. [redacted] to tell him what had happened and I would be calling my insurance company. I then called my insurance company to help resolve the issue. The insurance company came to the shop looked at the truck and said that they would call Mr [redacted]. My insurance company called Mr. Rountreeto resolve the problem. They gave him a rental car for a week and offered him 2 options. Option one was to repair the vehicle for approximately $15,600 at a shop of his choice, as I am not equipped to replace the engine; option two was to total the vehicle and give him a check for approximately $17,500. I don't know what else I can do for Mr. [redacted]. I believe I did my due diligence by involving my insurance company to provide Mr. [redacted] with the repair of his engine. The EGR Flush did not cause the engine to seize. This is an unfortunate accident that happened to both of us.
