Santa Paula Memorial Hospital

Review: I took my son to the hospital on 2/9/13. I never received a bill for the services. Seven months later I reveived a letter that my hospital bill is now in collections due to non payment. The collections company would not give me any information for the medical group who treated my son so I could froward the insurance payment that was sent to my home. This is disgusting business practice. I now have a negative mark on my credit and there is nothing Santa Paula Emergency Medical Group or the collection company is willing to do to help me. I am able to pay the bill but was never given the chance by the original company.Desired Settlement: I would have liked Santa Paula Medical Group to sent me a bill so I could forward the insurance check that was sent to my house. I have been holding on to the check because I did not know where to send it. They could have easily called me, forwarding this to collections was unnecessary.
