Hello I am Ceo/ owner of Dawkins Development GroupIncThis is a fake claim on my companyFirst I would like to say is this client never gave me any money at all for this servicesI see she is requesting money back that she never paid out at allNone of this is true at allBack in October of
2015, *** *** hired my company to do work for her and finish her basementIn the middle of the project she found another company to do the rest of the work at a cheaper price then the balance that was left on the job and told me that we were not moving as fast as she would like and did not want us to finish the jobShe breached her contract with my company to save moneyI knew right then what she was trying to doWe have done all the demolition and framing of her basement onlyHer bank sent me a email telling me she wanted to switch contractors and she was to pay the balance due to usHow ever I never received all money that was due and she found reason after reason to not pay and only covered half the billHer basement electrical work was already existent and all we did was move outlets and switches to new locationBeing that we never got pass the next draw the bank never paid out for the electrical and I ended up taken a lost being that the whole basement was already framed and finishedShe kept that money in her pocketThe bank told me once we was off the project, who ever she hire will take over and be held responsible for finishing the projectOut of a 29,thousand dollar contractI have got less then $paid out to me after I completed all the framing of the whole basement and my material cost and labor was way higher then thatA year later, The client contacted me saying she is having a problem with a few outlets not working and her contractor is saying he don't know whyI did not have to go out but being a business professional, I went back out to the house just so I make sure it was nothing on our endWhen I got to the jobI noticed and her husband also noticed that her contractor cut wires in the walls and removed two outlets before installing all the drywall is why she was not getting powerI told her to call her contractor back and have him fix it because it was something he doneI did not here nothing from the client and one day I get a call saying all her lights are not working in the basement and my company must have messed up somethingNow be mindful we never finish the basementWe never installed no light fixtures at all but she is blaming usSo she told me if I had before pictures to show her so she can see what is going on inside the walls because her contractor is not wanting to returnSo once again I get to the job site and she had a electrical company at her house about to cut holes in the wallsThey tole her they was going to cut holes in the walls and she had to get someone to fix them back and was going to charge her to find the problem and fix itI told the client right in front of the electrical company that I will trouble shoot the problem for her so she did not have to pay but we will have to open up the walls to find the problem being that her contractor closed all the walls off before making sure all his electrical work was workingShe said OK so I returned to the house and open up a few walls and I found and fixed her electrical problem for free and did not charge herBut I did tell her being that her contractor cut out a main wire she was going to have to have some one come back to pull the wire for her and close back the walls and paintIt was only small wholes that was neededI told her if she wanted me to do the job it will be $and she started saying it was to much after I fixed something that had nothing to do with me for free and her hiring another company and not paying me my balanceI am in business of customer services and trying to help her she is now posting a fake messages saying she want a full refund knowing she did not pay me a dime at allShe was expecting me to do the Job for $and I contacted her and told her I will send one of my guys over and she can pay them directly and the reason at this point I knew being that it was nothing we done as a company, I did not want to work for her and two days later I am getting a complainant as if she hired us and did not preform a job she paid forThis client from day one showed that she never wanted to pay and after all this time now trying to get money out the company that she never paid in the first placeI am turning this matter over to my lawyer and will not have any more communication with this client at allThis is a case were things did not work out in her favor after hiring the other UN licensed contractor to finish and being that I am the only licence person she is posting on my company because she can not find the contractor to come back that took over the job and caused all the problemsOut of years in business I have never not finished a job or take any client money and not preform is why we have such a good reputation and continuing repeated clients till this day after so many years
