Just got an email and shortly after a debit attempt on my card for a weight overage fee Santos Debris claims we went tons over their allotted tons First of all there is no way we had thrown away five tonsIt was just household items And another thing is that we had an estimator come in and estimate the weight of our belongings for the moving van - 14k lbs Santo's says our dumpster weighed in at almost 11k lbs That's 77% of our stuffThey also don't weigh their dumpsters third party so they could technically write any number they want Also it's been days with no contact until now There's nothing wrong with my phone and all my mail is forwarded to my new address
Back in*** we rented a debris box from Santos and we gave them our credit card information to pay for the box which was $***, when they came to pick up the box they damaged the house we were working on we fixed and never said anythingIt's now September and they took out $*** out of account without sending us a bill or a reason why, i've contacted them and they refuse to talk to me or tell me why the charge
We hired Santos Dumpster timesThe first time they delivered the dumpster as the size we requested (yards) The last the dumpsters were not the same size, they seemed smaller, and we decided to take dimensionsHere are the dimensions of the last debris boxes for your reference11.83'x7.5'x2.4' =212.94' / = yards if filled all the way to the topI just wanted to let you know that we are not happy with their service at allThat company should be honest with the services providedWe, as customers, trust in what what this company says and if it wasn't for our technician that notice the size of the dumpsters in the first place, we wouldn't have done anythingI just don't think is fair to lie to customers about the size of the dumpstersWith services like this, we don't expect to come back to this company for our future projects
I am a landscape contractor who has used this company before, but this latest experience was bad enough that it will be the last time I ordered a cubic yard green waste debris box for a project in Berkeley hills The box they delivered was closer to cubic yards The box was delivered on a Thursday and it was packed, ready for pick up on the next day, Friday by noon I called for pick up at that point The box was left through the weekend (they operate on Saturday) and wasn't picked up until Thursday Every day we called about pick up and everyday the said we were on the schedule for pick up that day They continually sight their 1-day pick up standard while promising to pick it up that day No one seems to know what's going on there, and they will all tell you it's not their fault There are some other extenuating circumstances that are equally troubling, but this experience was bad enough to terminate the business relationship Find another debris box company!

Please be careful at this companyThey will charge twice for one services
