Our family stayed in Destin the week of June 18, at one of the vacation homes provided via Beach Blue Properties, LLC The home was amazing, close to the pool and beach and very well maintained for what I am confident is a busy rental Everything was in order when we arrived except a kitchen cabinet door was off the hinges Beach Blue Properties corrected that problem as part of their maintenance schedule and I was satisfied with their response and resolution My one and only disappointment has to do with pillows, of all things While searching for a stash of spares I found many in the master bedroom closet I planned to divvy up among the family members Upon closer inspection I found three of them to be severely stained This issue caused me to check the pillows we used the night before When I pulled mine off the bed and out of the case there was dried blood on it as well In total, I found five pillows that should never have been available to any tenant When we informed the business and included pictures, they thanked me for bringing it to their attention and replaced them the next day Candidly I was surprised and disappointed there was no apology or even acknowledgment their cleaning was subpar I would have likely rated this business an eight (8) but blood stained pillows is completely unacceptable
