Falsely advertised pricesThey had a Toyota Solara that I liked. when I went there the price sticker on the car read $8995, $1000 less than what was listed online. I was happy and took it to my mechanic. the car was good for it age. When I came back, the salesperson flatly refused to honor the sticker price. When I told him about the sticker price, he was not surprised and without checking he told me that it was a clerical error. then he went out and took the price off the wind shield. When I asked him to honor the price he flatly told me that I can leave. The fact that he knew there were 2 prices makes me believe that such lying is not new at this dealershipDesired SettlementI will be happy if they sold it to me for 9000Business Response Mr [redacted] came on to our lot knowing the price of the vehicle was $9,995. He saw it on the internet for $9,995 because I asked him myself how much he saw it for and he said $9,995. We did not mislead him and make it seem it was $8,995 and try to go up on the price. I explained to him that I made a mistake and put the wrong sticker on it. Mistakes happen all the time and I quickly explained the situation to mr [redacted]. He seemed fine and understood what I explained to him. I don't know why is trying to complain about it now. There was no need for this and I can what kind of person he is now. He is trying to get over on us and that is not fair

Car was purchased ASIS,was told they would fix the issue. the problem was much more the tires not being balanced. Bent rims, bad tires, warped rotors. My wife and I purchased a [redacted] on 4/22/15. Fell in love with the car after we took it for a test drive. There were only a couple of issues with the car. I know that the car was sold asis! Was told they would fix the issue! The first was that you could tell the the struts were bad. Second the car had really bad high speed wobbles. We agreed to take 400 off the price of the car to help take care of the struts.(was way off on that cost!) Not a problem. I was told that they had just got a new tire machine and the tires are more that likely out of balance. I was told that they would fix the problem. After a few days I went back and was told that I needed to leave the car with them for the day, because they had to send the car off to have the problem fixed. First red flag!!!!!!! Had seen tires being delivered to their works shop on the day we bought the car. Was told that is just were they are "dropped", when I called them out on it. They were unable to give me a ride home, so I said I would try and get someone to help me.Their hours are kind of hard to work with in that aspect. I called and asked if I could just take the car there and wait. I was told that I was unable to do that. After a couple of days the vibrating got so bad my wife called me a cheap skate and told me to just pay to for it to get done. This is where it gets bad. I took the car to [redacted] and had it done. After a couple of tries the manager came out and asked me to come into the shop. They had taken the tires off and just spun the rims. All four of the rims were bent! They did the best they could. About $60 there. Went to the dealership the next morning and told them what the deal was. [redacted] told me that he would let the owner know, but still said that it would be taken care of. From the time I had bought the car I had a tune up done at the cost of $453, rear struts $327. After 3 days of not hearing anything I called and talked to [redacted]. He still had not heard from the owner. This was the next Red Flag!!!! That weekend I went in to talk to the owner. He just happened to be there. We went for a ride and he saw how bad it was. When we got back to the shop I told him I checked on rims from [redacted] and that they were crazy! $560 per rim! I told him I did not expect that, after market is a lot cheaper. He told me that he would give me $150 or give me another car. I asked him about the money I put into the car already. He didn't answer just said that he would give me a car that was the same price as the one I bought! I was not about to loose the money that I put into it. I took the money and said I would be back to finish the conversation. After buying new rims for around $500 the vibrations didn't completely go away, but got MUCH better. After 2 trips back they checked the tires and they are Bad! These same tires that were one of the big selling points that they just put on Brand NEW TIRES!! Back to the dealership. After a frank discussion I was told that the tires were under warranty and I could just go back and they would replace them. That following Monday I went to [redacted]. Got mad when I pulled up and saw that they were a distributor! Went in to speak to them about the tires. I was told that the person that was in charge of the account was in a meeting and would call me back a little later when he finds out what is going on. At this point I am ready to explode! The guy called me back a few hours later and was VERY confused about the whole issue. After talking with him and being sent to another place to have the tires checked. All four were out of round! He said that he was sorry about me having to go through all of the crap. Was informed that they put the cheapest tires on the market on the car. Guess what they no longer carry these items! He could give me a credit for the amount that they spent on the tires towards a new set. This is also doesn't cover the cost of mounting and balancing another 200!Desired SettlementI understand that the car was sold asis, but I was told that they would fix the issue! the fact that he gave me a choice of taking $150 or another car of same value while loosing the money I had put into for other repairs is a spit in the face or he must think I am stupid! I just want what was said was going to be done when I bought the car! less the 150 I was already given.Business Response We at SAR Enterprises have tried to help Mr [redacted] as much as we could. We already reduced the price of the vehicle he purchased as low as we could so he could afford it. When Mr. [redacted] brought up the issues with the tires I informed the owner and he offered to give him a discount or his money back and Mr. [redacted] refused. We Then gave him the receipt for the tires we purchased so he could get new tires for the vehicle. We did everything in our power to help Mr. [redacted] and even gave him some money back when we already lost money on this dealConsumer Response 2 of the things that they brought up are true. They did give me the recipt for the tires as I stated in the complaint. When I went to go and get the tires it was a wholesaler. They told me to take the receipt and they would replace them. This was a bold face fabrication! They sent me to a wholesaler that has no way of changing tires. Also the wholesaler no longer had the tires. [redacted] sent me to [redacted] to have the tires swapped out. He could only give me what they paid towards a new set which is more expensive. Also told me that it did not include the cost of installation. This is where there response to my complaint starts going bad! They say that they did EVERYTHING that they could to help me! After I was told about the extra money for the tires and installation. I talked with [redacted] about the issue and and asked if they would take care of these charges. he said no that they would not put any more money into the car. He said that they maybe able to install the tires but he would have to check with the owner. He called the owner and asked. When he got off the phone he looked at me and said" the owner said no because, it would give you something else to complain about!" My response was that I have only complained about what they had promised to fix which they never did! He shrugged his shoulders and and said "I know". I left. How is this doing everything to help me? Now the 2nd thing they told the truth about. They did give me $150 towards the rims that were bent! As stated in the original complaint. He also offered to replace the car for one of equal pricing to mine. I was not about to lose the money I had already put into the car. They reduced the price of the car to help me fix the front struts ONLY! They did not reduce to help me afford the car. The first car I wanted I could not afford. After we agreed on price I added a $1500 warranty. Which is another story and another claim! They NEVER EVER once offered a refund! If it did not include the money I had spent for the tune-up and shocks they are right I would have turned it down. This comes down to the fact that they told me that they would FIX the high speed wobbles on the car. They said it was more than likely the tires being out of balance. When they found out what the real problem was they wanted absolutely wanted nothing to do with it. I have done some research and I am not the only person that they have done this type of thing to. I have corresponded with the young lady and they did the samething with her air conditioner. They should have had the issue checked before they told me that they would fix it! I am not a unreasonable man. I have not asked them to fix the other issues on the car just what they said they would fix. Thank youFinal Business Response We at SAR Enterprises did hold up to what we said we were going to do and even went the extra mile to help Mr. [redacted] as much as we could. We never promised to fix his struts. We never promised him new tires. We never promised to do anything after he bought the vehicle. When Mr. [redacted] came back with the complaints we told him if he would be happy with another car or $150 back and he gladly accepted the $150 and that was it, we held up our in and went the extra mile looking at his vehicle and giving him the receipt for the tires when we didn't have to after we already gave him $150 and we both agreed that would be the end of the matter. We don't understand his compliant now. Both sides agreed that once we gave him the$150 that we would drop this matter
