I am a disturbed Saratoga home owner, in Humble, Texas. I closed on my purchase in July and have been waiting for the builder to complete the job and stand behind the agreement to repair my property ever since . I have been attempting to get someone to repair/rebuild my fence for over 9 weeks. Yes, we agreed that the fence issue be corrected before my closing. My fence has many defects and was built with subpar (rotten wood) materials. The wood is wood that is softened and has a darker color than usual. The pickets are uneven, the sales person Theresa can't help, the building supervisor Romero keeps putting me off ("taking vacations") and the Saratoga contact person Deira has ignored my calls. I have sought assistance and/or guidance to no avail. This company does not appear to stand by its product and does not value the American consumer. What an awful experience! I need to have my fence taken care of properly! This is dreadful an unacceptable. I have tracked 8 emails, 11 texts and 9 phone calls about this issue. No one has seen fit to complete the job properly. I am on a corner lot! If you can’t help me, please tell me who I can contact. Thank you and have a great day.

I wanted to update to the Revdex.com that I was recently able to meet and come to an agreement with Saratoga Homes concerning my claims
with the Revdex.comThrough our agreement, I consider the matter now resolved.I was unable to access the links previously sent to me from the Revdex.com to make an update directly on the Revdex.com website, so am emailing them here with the hope the claim may either be updated online or I may be instructed how to access my previous claim

Purchase Agreement, Preliminary Change Request and Features and Amenities Sheet among other contract documents. Please see the attached documents. At contract signing our Marketing Manager [redacted] called to inquire about the cost of the balcony. Our standard charge is $12,000 for a balcony. Even though the balcony is installed on our Model Home, along with other items that the buyer, requested costs on, it is not standard. Model homes are built so that the buyer can get an idea of how to customize and add options to their home. This is an industry standard. The request for the cost of the fireplace is such evidence. Our model home at 3727 Lakeshore Harbour Blvd. has a level 3 fireplace installed inside the home but it is not standard with the home'. Ms. [redacted] requested the price on this item along with other various items. Please see the "Preliminary Change Request". On or about June 14th our Construction Manager, [redacted] was asked to leave the balcony rafters flat. The buyer also asked that we leave a space for a door out to the roof over the patio which would be later converted to a balcony by the buyer. The construction manager brought this to my attention and I immediately brought it up to our Sales Manager, [redacted]. [redacted] and [redacted] contacted the buyer and explained to her that the main reason for the cost of the balcony was due to the changes required by code to build the balcony. If we were to build the home as the buyer requested, we would have been negligent in our duty to provide a safe, quality home, knowing that after Closing the buyer would make the changes on her own. In an attempt to earn consideration, the buyer claimed that there was a lack of clarity regarding the standards in the home. Our position is and always will be that any promises made are set in writing. Furthermore and we have a standard option price for the requested balcony option which was disclosed to Ms. [redacted] up front verbally. In an attempt to be more than fair, even to our loss, we refunded not only the earnest money to the buyer but the money that was paid for various change - orders as well. We feel this is an attempt to soil our reputation unfairly. Saratoga Homes of Texas Houston, LLC respectfully requests that Complaint ID [redacted] be removed completely as there was not monetary loss except for the side of Saratoga Homes.
