question of; What justifies a complaint to the Revdex.com when a business in good faith requests a customer to pick up their motorcycle and in good faith offers that customer 9.5 hours of labor at no additional cost to that customer as goodwill? Secondly, Mr. [redacted] motorcycle was completed on 7/21/2015 and Mr. [redacted] assertions that we are keeping him from his motorcycle are false. Also, Mr. [redacted] statement that he has visited our dealership several times, was lied to and that his motorcycle has been sabotaged is clearly without merit as in his statement to you he offers no evidence or proof of such actions. Naturally, we are saddened that Mr. [redacted] has elected write to the Revdex.com wasting there valuable time with these false assertions and declining our offer of no additional repair cost, 9.5 hours of free labor as goodwill in exchange for his acknowledgement of the goodwill of the additional authorized labor necessary to complete his custom motorcycle. Our offer of goodwill is valid until 8/7/2015. Our repairs were of a cosmetic nature and not mechanical however with his false assertions we are forced for legal reasons to brand his motorcycle as unsafe on the repair order which he will now have to acknowledge in addition to our acknowledgement of goodwill form and the motorcycle will need to be picked up the same way it arrived to us on a tow truck. I respectfully request Mr. [redacted] letter be dismissed from our Revdex.com file as it was submitted with a clear malicious intent as there is no complaint of wrong doing. In short Mr. [redacted] was never given any completion date for his motorcycle cosmetic customization as we relied on him to provide us the custom body parts to be ordered, waiting for parts to arrive, then facilitating color matching of the parts from different sublet companies that we have no control over. SUMMARY OF SERVICES We received Mr. [redacted] 2007 Suzuki GSXR 750cc motorcycle via a tow truck after it had been involved in an accident which caused cosmetic body damage. Mr. [redacted] authorized us to repair his motorcycles body damage and work on his behalf dealing with his insurance company. Mr. [redacted] settled with the insurance company for $4962.00 to do repairs with original Suzuki replacement parts. (Copy of check attached) Mr. [redacted] requested the motorcycle be repaired with aftermarket body parts which would allow for his personal customization and color changes. We contacted the insurance company and they oked the allowance of installation of aftermarket body parts and the customization of the motorcycle. This allowance saved Mr. [redacted] $1000.00 in the repair cost estimate so we issued Mr. [redacted] a refund check of $1000.00 (check copy attached). Mr. [redacted] was advised that we could not guarantee a completion time since he was selecting custom colored repair parts nor could we guarantee non original parts from outside companies in foreign countries and then custom paint be done by another outside source. Mr. [redacted] stated he understood and he personally researched and selected the custom designed body parts to be used. These parts had to be fabricated in China and shipped to us from China which took several weeks to arrive. Once they arrived we requested Mr. [redacted] come and inspect them to be what he wanted and they were. Mr. [redacted] was informed of the next step of color matching the motorcycles wheels to the body panels could take place as we now had body panel sample for a paint shop to match too. The painter took several weeks as the wheels had to first be completely stripped of their original powder coat finish. Once we received the wheels back from the painter we were able to start assembly of the parts MR. [redacted] had selected. Immediately we realized that the aftermarket parts fitment was not to the Suzuki OEM fitment standards and that additional time would be needed to achieve the best fitment possible. So we contacted Mr. [redacted] and requested he come and see the fitment issue was and that additional labor time would be needed to achieve the best fitment possible. Mr. [redacted] viewed the body fitment issue and stated “IT IS WHAT IT IS “accepting that we would do the best fitment. In conclusion, we felt in the interest of customer retention we would not ask Mr. [redacted] to pay for the additional 9.5 labor hours and give the labor hours to him as goodwill. Naturally, we asked him to accept our goodwill offer of 9.5 hours which equals $807.50 in writing (copy of agreement attached) for accounting reasons and compliance to consumer laws describing the needed repair time along with his acceptance of the fact we have not implied any warranty to the aftermarket parts. Ironically, in Mr. [redacted] statement to the Revdex.com he understands and accepts no warranty on the aftermarket parts. Thus, leaving me even more confused and now with Mr. [redacted] false assertions raises concerns of an ulterior motive as to why he declined our goodwill offer of free labor and has not picked up his motorcycle. Therefore, now with his false assertions we are now forced for legal reasons to brand his motorcycle as unsafe on the repair order which he will now have to acknowledge in addition to our acknowledgement of goodwill form and the motorcycle will need to be picked up the same way it arrived to us on a tow truck by 8/7/15.
