Sarita''s Chihuahua''s

I have two long haired chihuahuas from Sarita's. One is 13 and the other is 5.

About 4 years ago, I found out that my oldest one has a genetic deformation of his back knees. He's an amazing dog otherwise. Great temperament and super intelligent.

I picked up my second little guy when he was about 8 months old. He was the only pup in the litter (unusual) and he came with loads of issues, most being psychological. Sarita actually told me that he was kept indoors for most of his life and he had no litter mates to socialize with. I don't know how he was taken care of before I came for him, but he was scared of everything. A leaf falling, movement of shadows, a bird chirping...everything scared him. He would run with fear in any direction, even into a wall. He was also especially afraid of men, but even myself (a woman), it took him about 6 months to trust me. Also, he came with a case of scabies. I had to treat him and my other dog. I contacted Sarita and told her about his psychological issues and the scabies, but she didn't care and refused to give even a partial refund. I ended up spending a whole lot more money and time to care for his special needs. Even at 5 years, after a lot of love, socialization, and training, he's gotten a lot better, but is still afraid to be outside and around strangers.

I used to recommend Sarita's, but now I don't.
