Review: S.A.S. Group Security installed a Video surveillance system around my house with four cameras. There are many issues with the system. Two cameras are not working as they should. One was replaced and they will not come back to replace the other. There is black spots on the video in the patio and front cameras. There is the appearance of snow on the ground at night with all cameras in night mode. You can't down load to a SanDisk drive to play on computer to show to police if an intrusion occurred. I keep calling the office and leaving a message for them to call me and fix the issues, but the don't return my calls. They don't answer their cell phones. They installer even said that he never seen these issues before.Desired Settlement: Repair or replace cameras, get night images of snow on ground cleared up. Black spots on video images cleared. Fix down load to SanDisk to play back on computer to show police if an intrusion takes place.

Review: I had this firm install security cameras at my home. The job was completed, and I was promised I would be able to view these cameras on my Ipad. This was accomplished, but a short time later I lost this ability, and this occurred when an upgrade was sent to my Ipad. When I clicked on this upgrade, I lost my ability to view the cameras. I have requested that I would like them to come and fix this problem, and I was assured by the firm owner, [redacted], that it would be done as soon as possible. It has been a few months now, and I still am unable to get this service as promised. I have called numerous times, left messages, and it seems they are avoiding contact with me. It is a simple request, and it would not take them long to fix the problem, but I am being ignored. The work supervisor, [redacted], called me awhile back, and he said the problem was mine. His worker, [redacted], was going on vacation, so I would have to wait. He also wants to charge me for a service call, and since then, Nothing . I would like to get this problem resolved right away without being put off any longer. I spent a lot of money to get these cameras installed, and I only expect to get what was promised to me. I would appreciate any help with this.Desired Settlement: Get me back on line with the cameras that were installed as promised.

[redacted] is a nice older gentleman. We installed his system for a very low price. He was informed that once the system is in place and working in which it was. Any further Internet problems are a service call in which he will be charged. He has accidentally twice un plugged his computer router and called. He has also been given Tech support phone numbers from the manufacture for the dvr system installed. The equipment is in perfect working order, unfortunately [redacted] is does not know computers very well . Several attempts have been made to walk him through his problem with his Internet service. Its states in our contract we are not responsible for the Internet provider he has chosen. He has also been informed that the equipment we installed is working perfectly but his computer network needs upgrades. We want to resolve the problem. However since we are not going to charge [redacted] a service call fee for his mistakes we can only send are tech when he available and in the vicinity. We hope to resolve this as soon as possible.....Note last page of contract,,,,,Notes;

SAS System Notes/Qualifications for:

· Labor rates are based on non-union labor. Union labor will be provided at additional cost

· All work to be performed on straight time – overtime will be provided at additional cost

· Customer to supply RJ-45 network connection if E-Secure is required

· Safe and Secure Security non contract service rate is $115 for the 1st hour $80 per hour thereafter. The emergency non contract service rate is $150 for the 1st hour $120 per hourr thereafter

· Permit fees not included.

· Customer is responsible for providing 110V electrical power at alarm control panels to be installed throughout property

· Any additional materials or labor requested by customer that is not specified in this proposal will result in a Change Order that must be reviewed by Safe and Secure Security account executive and signed for by customer prior to start date of installation

· If remote access is required for Direct Connect, customer must provide a network connection within 25 feet of alarm control panel. Any network wiring will be subject to additional charges based on time & materials.

· Safe and Secure Security is not responsible for remote access issues caused by network or firewall issues. Any network connectivity support beyond setting up the system for E-Secure will be subject to additional charges

· Customer must provide power and data connections for security equipment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The answer given by the business is very inaccurate in many respects. First of all, I unplugged the AP that was put there by [redacted] at his direction, not my idea. After an UPDATE appeared on my IPad for that AP, I clicked on it, and that is when I lost the ability to get my cameras on line. [redacted] then told me to go to the Apple Store to get a new free AP, but there were no free APS , I had to buy one. This purchased , still I could not get access to the internet. Now I was given a number to call to help me work through this problem, and this proved not to help either. I needed some help with this, and after over a month of trying to get help, I received a call from [redacted]. This was on a Friday. He assured me he would come early on the following Tuesday, in the AM, and could solve my problem in a short time, before heading to his next job. Needless to say he never showed, even after numerous calls to him where he said he would be there shortly. At 8:45PM he called, he could not make it, my day of waiting to no avail. He said he was directed away from me by his supervisor [redacted], and he had no choice. It has now been about three months I have been trying to get this resolved with no luck. It seem they have my money, and now they want more to do something that I paid for in the first place. There is always some excuse from them, and my repeated calls to their office always go unanswered. And as to the cheaper price I was given, I was also given cheaper cameras, not the ones I was shown originally. And one of them only works on and off, but I feel that this is because of the control box more that anything. I said nothing about the cameras at the time, but that was a mistake on my part. I do not ask much from them, only that I can get my cameras on line as promised, but it seems I am always put on the back burner with this request. And as far as unplugging my router twice, this is not true either, I had to purchase a NEW router from them when the system was put in, as they were unable to use the one I had. I may be OLD as they say, but I am not stupid, and I am tired of hearing how it is my fault for what they could not, or would not, fix.

My Internet problem has been resolved , and I am pleased with the result, however, I still need a replacement for one camera, camera #3, as it is not functioning. With that done I will be finished with any dissatisfaction.[Your Answer Here]
