Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The dress was obviously defective It may have appeared to be in good condition, but this was an unusual issue that would not be known until the dress was actually wornA $dress should not fall apart after hours of wear.I spoke with the manager at Babette's and a representative at [redacted] (manufacturer) and neither was willing to take any responsibility for the defective merchandise Babette's wanted to point their finger at [redacted] and [redacted] referred me back to Babette'sI feel that the two of them should have worked together and supply at least a partial refundNeither party seemed to care that the dress fell apart and that as a result my daughter's final Homecoming event was ruined ( She was unable to dance/move around because there were long strings hanging from the bottom that if pulled caused the sequence to fall off in large quantitiesIt is also extremely embarrassing to be wearing a dress that is falling apart.) The representative at [redacted] told me that the sequence had to ordered for the dress repair, but it was never communicated to me how long the repair would take by either partyI informed both parties that a repaired dress was of no use to me since the event was overI also told Jessi that I was not interested in a gift certificate to the store because I would not be making any future purchases thereYes, I did leave the gift certificate behind when I picked the dress up, but I did not throw it at the young girlThat is a ridiculous accusationThe girl handed me the dress, I thanked her, opened the envelope with the gift certificate and told her that she could give the certificate back to management because I would not ever be returning to the store and I left calmlyThere was no yelling or throwing involved.Regards, [redacted] ***
