Review: I dropped my car off on 10/**/14 to have the insurance adjuster to come and look at the car because I was rear ended on 10/**/14. Since I was without of a car, I rented a car from Hertz which the auto body referred me to. Geico came out on 10/**/14 to look at my car. The mileage on my car when they looked at the car was 121,913. Geico then stated that they are not liable for the damages that Countrywide Insurance was. Countrywide adjuster came out on10/**/14 and the mileage was 122,001. Countrywide and the shop [redacted], [redacted], came to an agreed amount of $1,537.27 to repair the damages and the repair would be done in 4 days. I received the check for the repair on 11/**/14 and dropped off the cash on 11/**/14 which was the first time I seen my car there at the shop. [redacted] (also an [redacted]) told me that the car will be ready at the end of the week but [redacted] told me to give him until 12/**/14 because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I told them that will be fine. Now at this time I am coming out of my pocket for the rental car which I had since 10/**/14. I called on 12/**/14 to see how everything is going with my car and they told me that it should be finished be the end of the week. I then received a call from [redacted] telling me that the compressor went on the paint machine and that I will have the car back on Tuesday the [redacted] of December. I told her that I'm have surgery that day but she told me she will hold my car there until Wednesday that was not a problem. On Tuesday the [redacted] of December, I get a call from Hertz telling me that I'm listed as self pay and I need to return the car by the end of the business day. My husband spoke to [redacted] on 12/**/14 and she told him the car was not ready and that they were having problems with the bumper. My husband told her, "You told my wife that you were having problems with the compressor?" She told him that she would call him back. When I got out of surgery, I called the shop several times but I did not get an answer. I can't be without a car so I rented another car from Enterprise and returned the first rented car to Hertz. I had a bill from Hertz for $1,779.77. After I returned the car to Hertz, we went to the shop since they were not answering the phone. My husband talked to [redacted] and [redacted] said the car will be done Thursday no later then Friday 12/**/14. My son recorded the conversation between the two. I called on 12/**/14 and I was told that the car was in the oven and the car will be done on the 12/**/14. We went on Friday afternoon to pick up the car. The car looks great but the full tank of gas that the car went in with was gone. [redacted] gave me $20.00 towards the gas that was gone. My neighbor [redacted] drove the car back with my husband. [redacted] said, "I thought you had almost 122,000 mile on this truck." My husband told him yes, why? [redacted] said, "You have almost 123,000 miles on this truck." When we got home, I check with the estimate and pictures of my car and seen when they went the car had 122,001. I took a picture of the miles when the truck was picked up and the miles were 122,863. My husband left them a message asking how they put over 800 miles on the truck. We also went to the shop to handle the situation without reporting it but [redacted] told us that [redacted] was not coming in today because his mother is in the hospital. She also ask us want he was going to do for us because of the miles but he never told my husband what he would do. [redacted] and my husband were going to talk about it when we got to the shop. I took the truck to my mechanic on Monday the [redacted] of December because of a rattle in the back and an oil change and my husband noticed the 4 x 4 sticker in the back. They did not put the 4 x 4 sticker back on the truck and the wrong side was ordered.Desired Settlement: I feel as though my truck was done and they were driving it or they were driving it round before it was fixed while I was paying for a rental. I would like them to pay for 16 days of the rental from Hertz. I was also like a dollar per mile. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for 200 miles because the storage lot is in Yonkers. $53.00 for the 4 x 4 sign that was never put on and was for the wrong side.
