Review: I have been a continuous customer of this business at the Shrewsbury location for about 15 years now. Last summer, I indicated to them that the unit I rent had leaked and that I had damage. Unfortunately, physically I could not empty the unit nor secure assistance in doing so. The manager on site at the time checked it out and said that nothing was happening at this time and he thought it was very old and no one else had complained of leaks. One of the employees nicely gave me cardboard and plastic to put over the top of my stuff as I still felt there was potential for a leak and that none of my stuff was damaged previously.The top manager, who is still in charge and not responding to my complaints, did offer me the opportunity to move last summer anyway but I just could not do it physically or timewise and trusted they knew what they were talking about in terms of no leaks. Last Tuesday I went to the storage unit around 6:30pm to find large amounts of black puddles on the plastic that came pouring down on me and the floor. I was unable to do anything as again I was alone. I immediately called the office and asked that they (a) call me back the next day and (b) gave permission for them to go into my unit and see what was happening as I was afraid my stuff was being damaged. I never heard back from anyone. I then spoke with an employee who said they didn't have a key to my unit; I verbally gave them permission to cut the lock and go in and see what was happening. They said they had forwarded my message to manager and couldn't do anything more. Since then I have called three times and just get told manager has been alerted. It is now almost a week. I am temporarily living in Phila so can not easily get to unit and management is ignoring my plead for help!!! I fear my stuff is being damaged!!!Desired Settlement: (a) Expect phone call or email [redacted]) from manager asap, (b) expect that they will explore leak ASAP, (c) expect to not have to pay for number of months of storage, (d) expect that they will move my stuff to a different leak free unit under my or a designee of mine's (e.g., my sister) supervision or pay me the cost of hiring someone to move the stuff (actual cost not just what they estimate it should cost), and (e) pay for damaged items.
