My understanding is that Mr [redacted] called regarding the possible purchase of a snowmobile listed for sale on our website The salesman he spoke to, who does not control the website, had to look it up to see what he was referring to as far as price At that time, the salesman did not realize there was a problem with the pricing listed on our webpage Mr [redacted] called again regarding his interest in the same sled and questioned the price of the sledAfter his discussion with Mr***, the salesman then went to the office to question the price of the sled stating that it didn’t seem right and especially since the customer questioned the price, it needed to be looked into The office then immediately went on the website to check what pricing was listed and saw there was an error The person who listed the snowmobile accidently subtracted the rebate twice That is a $1,error Once this was deciphered, Mr [redacted] was immediately called on his cell phone to let him know the pricing is wrong The salesman got his voicemail and left a message Mr [redacted] returned his call and was upset because he was already on his way and demanded that he get that price The call was then forwarded to the owner to speak to Mr*** It was explained that it was a mistake and we called as soon as it was discovered We apologized and reminded him that we are all human and we are capable of making mistakes We could not go as low on the price as Mr [redacted] would have liked without taking out of our own pocketMr [redacted] was also told that there is a disclaimer on our website about any errors in pricing that may occurAt the completion of the phone call, the owner didn’t seem to think that their discussion would warrant a complaint to the Revdex.com It was an error and it was corrected once the office was notified that something could be wrong We apologize for the error, however, we are humanThis is the link to the disclaimer:http://www.twinlakesmarine.com/disclaimer.asp?dealername=Twin+Lakes+M... The office then immediately went on the website to check what pricing was listed and saw there was an error. The person who listed the snowmobile accidently subtracted the rebate twice. That is a $1,error. Once this was deciphered, Mr*** was immediately called on his cell phone to let him know the pricing is wrong. The salesman got his voicemail and left a message. Mr*** returned his call and was upset because he was already on his way and demanded that he get that price. The call was then forwarded to the owner to speak to Mr***. It was explained that it was a mistake and we called as soon as it was discovered. We apologized and reminded him that we are all human and we are capable of making mistakes. We could not go as low on the price as Mr*** would have liked without taking out of our own pocketMr*** was also told that there is a disclaimer on our website about any errors in pricing that may occurAt the completion of the phone call, the owner didn’t seem to think that their discussion would warrant a complaint to the Revdex.com. It was an error and it was corrected once the office was notified that something could be wrong. We apologize for the error, however, we are human. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The matter was not how Twin Lakes stated in their response Like I said before, I called on the snowmobile and confirmed the price of $10,with the salesperson and they confirmed the price If thats all they have to go on is the price that everyone sees on the internet, I think there might be something wrong The first time that I called, the salesperson said, "if thats what it says online, thats gotta be what it is," and he gave me an out the door price of $10, The next day I called to confirm pricing and he confirmed for the second time that a $10,check made out to Twin Lakes Marine would be fine Then they called me when I was half way down to Twin Lakes Marine from New London, Wi and they told me that they cannot sell me the sled for $10, They told me that they were $off They told me that they could only sell it for $11, I then tried to reason with them and split the difference at $10,with them for their mistake and they would not do anything for me I think this is a terrible way to do business and told the owner that maybe it should be taken out of his salespersons pocket because he confirmed the price with me twice and he did not like that Like I said before I don't really care about the advertised price being wrong but when a salesperson confirms the price twice on the phone with a customer and is on the way down to pick up the unit something should be done to accommodate the customer I will be sure to let everyone know that Twin Lakes Marine is not a reputable dealer and I would never recommend anyone to do business with them Hopefully something can be done to resolve this experience I would still like to have the opportunity to discuss the original offers that were confirmed on the phone on two different occasions
Regards,

Mr. [redacted] was also told that there is a disclaimer on our website about any errors in pricing that may occur. At the completion of the phone call, the owner didn’t seem to think that their discussion would warrant a complaint to the Revdex.com.  It was an error and it was corrected once the office was notified that something could be wrong.  We apologize for the error, however, we are human. This is the link to the disclaimer:http://www.twinlakesmarine.com/disclaimer.asp?dealername=Twin+Lakes+M...
