I made a purchase of nearly $100.00 and was not told at the time that all purchases are nonrefundable. It was on the receipt, however when a purchase is usually made under those policies a sales clerk would have pointed that out. Ridiculous
policy in a store of that caliber. Sales clerk should have pointed out the return policy. Now I am stuck with a store credit from a store in a town I do not even live in.

Refund I want a credit to my credit card.
Our return policy is typed on the receipt as well as visually posted right next to the credit card machine. Which is:
"Regular priced merchandise may be exchanged or returned for in-store credit only within 30 days of purchase.
Merchandise being returned must be UNWORN and in ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
ITEMS PURCHASED AT REDUCED PRICE ARE FINAL SALE - NO EXCEPTIONS"
We stand by our policy and our employees are not required to verbally state it customers. If a customer asks or is openly unsure of the purchase it is sometimes mentioned. This is the policy of many small businesses in small tourist towns.
It is unfortunate that you felt it ok to be belligerent with my employees, who were just doing their job enforcing our policy. If you were unhappy, going straight to a manager would a better option than being rude to people who do not have the authority to do anything different. They do not deserve that.
When you spoke with the manager, you were also very irate with her, so much so, she asked you to please send back the gift card and we would refund your card. We have received the card and you should see your refund soon. I feel you got what you wanted and I am unsure why this complaint was filed.
