The customer made a call to our office to speak to someone about ice dam removal and the utility energy programIt is not a requirement that a company be a roofing company to remove ice damsSince ice dam removal is a service we offer,
we provided her a written estimate for the project, which she acceptedThe customer asked for a certificate of insuranceWe sent her one the same day
Our company provides quality service and strives to complete our jobs using best practicesWe do not think that we damaged her roof, but will certainly address the situationWe were not aware that she felt it was damagedWe received a voice mail from the customer after the job and returned her callShe did not leave us a message stating that she felt her roof was damaged and has not bothered to answer the phone or return a callHad she done so, we would have addressed her concerns as we are professionals and believe in customer service
It should also be noted that she complained to MrSaunders that the storm chasing roofer had done a bad job roofing her house and that they would not return her callsWe will not be held responsible for poor workmanship of a previous contractor
To resolve the problem, we suggest she speak to us as communication is the first step to resolution

The owner came to the house unprepared to evaluate the situation and then gave us an estimate for way more work than was needed to fix the problem. We contacted another company and got the job done for 500 dollars not the four thousand dollars that Saunders Insulation wanted

I consulted this company in April 2016 as they were listed on [redacted] website as one of their "approved" contractors. Mr. Saunders came to my home and did "home inspection" where he stated that he had to take samples. He contacted me to tell me that the samples came back as asbestos. The final invoice was for $6000 with a disclaimer stating unknown conditions would cause additional cost-this disclaimer was not on original paperwork. He never presented a WRITTEN CHANGE ORDER and I never ordered the additional work. Subsequently review has found that the original samples were not collected according to proper procedure and after speaking to a IDPH LICENSED Asbestos contractor, the amount present and where it was located did not need to be removed-could have been encapsulated if any major remodeling was being planned. He also had his workers enter my home without my permission after I explicitly told him I wanted to review the new invoice. I would not recommend this contractor!
