Saunders RV Rentals, Inc.

I rented an RV from Saunders rental this summer. I brought my pet with me and paid the pet addendum + the $200 security deposit. The first day in the RV my pet found feces and pet food from the previous renter (hindsight now tells me I should of taken pictures). On the return of the RV I encouraged [redacted] to look around the RV before I left. [redacted] said everything was fine so I left on my long trip back to Texas. I no sooner was 30 minutes in my car when [redacted] called me and accused me of my pet defecating in the RV. Of course I denied all allegations because #1 I was with my pet 24/7 and #2 she is house trained. A few days went by when I received an email from [redacted] that I was not getting the $200 pet security deposit back and I was being charged $140 for a urine stain in the rear bedroom. I was livid and tried talking and emailing [redacted]. He would not listen to my version at all. I even called his cleaning service and they told me that stain could be a year old. It is a shame because as soon as [redacted] received his money I being the customer did not matter anymore.

In response to Saunders reply on July 29:

When Saunders and [redacted] came to pick up the trailer at no time did they even look under the dinette. My response was not "its gone". My response was I put up a barricade so my pet would not go under the dinette. I told Saunders I do not know what else is under there. All I know is that my dog retrieved cat feces from there. I never looked under the dinette because that would involve taking the dinette table off. At the time I did not think about taking pictures, but now I wish I had. The pet food was found under the sofa bed, in fact I told Saunders to look under the bed and he would find the crumbs. He did no investigation. I encouraged Saunders to look around the rental before I left. He did no such thing. He waited until I left to inspect the MH knowing full well I would not be there to witness what was "supposedly" found. He called me 30 minutes later to accuse me of my pet "defecating" in the MH. He did not say urinating. Saunders was on speaker phone and the persons in the car can testify to that. At no time did I ever tell him I never had a small dog. He is an untruthful man. There were conversations over the phone and emails as well long before I rented the MH about the size of my dog. I was up front and told Saunders the truth about the size of my dog because I did not want any problems when I got into town. He accepted my $ knowing full well what size of dog I had. Now that he has my $ he is bringing up the size of my dog? What is upsetting about this whole thing is I am 100% sure my pet did not evacuate in that MH. I was with her 24/7, she is housetrained, plus all my luggage was under both windows in the back. She would of had to urinate on top of my luggage and that did not happen. Steam X even told me "that stain could be a year old". I tried to resolve this by talking on the phone with Saunders but all he did was yell at me, hang up on me, and tell me he did not have time for me. He is in the customer business and so am I. If I ever talked to my customers like that I would be fired. I am writing this review because I do not want other customers to go through what I went through with Saunders RV rental. Renters beware! Do not make the same mistake I did. I should of known from the beginning when he overcharged me $240 because he delivered a 29ft MH to the park instead of the 31ft MH that was ordered in the original contract. The $140 Steam X bill was taken from that overcharge. Unfair!
