Sav-Mor has provided my household with superior service over the years. They have installed a new cooling system, new furnace and performed duct cleaning for us. Not to mention the times we needed our heating and cooling serviced they are quick to respond and always efficient. I would recommend this company to all my family and friends.

Review: I am writing regarding an oil fired furnace cleaning that your technician performed on February 13, 2015. After returning on Friday, March 6, 2015 from a family vacation, the furnace was not working properly. Since this was our first time using your business, I sent you a text message saying there was a problem. A technician did come out on March 7, however, he didn’t make sure the furnace was running properly before leaving. When the furnace continued to not work properly, I contacted the technician and he told me to go downstairs and see how he left the settings. That didn’t work and the furnace working improperly continued.

When the issue was not resolved, I contacted your office several times asking for yourself of Troy to please come check on what the technician had done and please rectify the situation. I was then informed that neither of you make service calls. My feeling is someone (you as the President) should be held accountable for your employees’ actions, lack of knowledge, and poor customer service. Having no other choice, I contacted another heating and cooling company to come out and repair the furnace. It took them approximately four (3) hours and $570 to fix what your technician could not. I had already paid over $400 to Sav-Mor, and did not have a properly functioning furnace.Desired Settlement: All of my money refunded if not half.

Review: Loud noise heard in furnace. Service technician found pieces of fan blades from previous broken squirrel cage blower wheel which was replaced by Sav Mor two years ago. Blades were found under the heat exchanger. Some of the blades had made their way to the new blower wheel resulting in the noise and resulting repair issues. The bill totaled $253.26 which I refuted as the issue reflected poor service by Sav Mor when the squirrel cage was initially replaced. Sav Mor would not accept liabiity for the problem and insisted that I owed them for the repair. Sav Mor agreed to discount the bill by $53.26 and I relented rather than have the dispute turned over to a Collections Agency. I feel that the repair was the result of substandard service and should have been absorbed by the company. I am disappointed by the response of Sav Mor to a long time customer (15 years).
