Thank you for your letter of 09/0l/I We agree with you that we wish to resolve customer complaints quicklyI have attached a copy of the letter I sent to *** *** regarding this matterMr*** is a new (since April 2015) caretaker of ***, a year customer of SavMor Drug
This customer is disabled and we were delivering a plastic (reusable) med box each week*** bought these boxes and they belonged to himTo counter Mr*** claims: 1) Mr *** immediately disputed any claims requiring money to be paid- June 9th charge of docusate RX for $came back on June 26th with a note that "this was a mistake on your part"No, we put in the box the exact medication the doctor ordered(See copy of rx) and ***'s insurance does not cover this medicationMr*** has also refused to pay for this bottle of medication 2) The box was broken while in our care- No the customer had TWO boxes, one of which was fairly new and in good shape the other quite old and they do fall apart after awhile3) That we billed a new box after being told that prescriptions were being transferred to *** *** - Nohe requested a new box on June 22nd; this was billed out and filled here on June 23rd but not delivered until the next delivery date of June 29thOnce the box leaves our store we cannot guarantee the cleanliness/sterility of the box, and cannot sell it to another customer4) On June 29th in the morning Mr *** deposited on our counter the bill with his notes stating that ***'s Rxs were being switched to another pharmacyThis was the day that we actually deliver the boxes (Mondays)The box had already been put together and was on its way to the patient at that point5) "they did not bother to nofity me of any cost to replace the case" We are a for-profit pharmacy; we have filled med boxes as well as delivered them at no charge, but these are hard case, long-lasting (not forever lasting) cases and of course there IS a charge for merchandise hereDue to the impaired mental capacity of* and in honor of the longstanding relationship we have had with him, we will no longer end a statement to this home
