Sav-On Movin' moved our entire home, which involved 2 full trailer loads. I want to begin by saying that the 4 men worked non stop...no chatting of playing around. I even stopped and picked up drinks and snacks for them on the way back for the second trip because I was so impressed. After unpacking and going through things, I am highly disappointed in the way our furniture was handled. Antiques have huge dings and scratches, our bedrrom furniture is visibly scractched and dinged. My huband's electronic wheelchair wheel was broken in half, only finding the half that is attached to the piece. My husband tube bar light was broken as well. One of the men kept asking if I wanted articles saying he would take them....I did give him a couple small items which I was probably going to dispose of after the move. We had a gallon wine jug almost completely full....I have searched high and low and it is not here. It especially after we paid them $100 over the billed price. We have not contacted the company due to the fact we were told that it is a .60 per pound per article on their liability....felt it was not worth our while to press it. I am annoyed that I was stolen from, our furniture damaged and my husband's mobility device is now not in working order. I would never use this company again nor would I suggest them to anyone...quite the opposite, I would tell them who NOT to use.....the damage, the theft....totally out of line even though they are hard workers.
Sav-On-Movin is the most unscrupulous, unprofessional, fly-by-night, rip-off artist company that ever existed. They mis-quote prices, over charge for services, keep items that they move and to top it all the "owner" in the office is RUDE with a capital P for pain in the ... If you choose to use this company you obviously don't care about customer service and have more dollars than sense. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
