Savage L&B Dodge Chrysler Jeep, Inc. Reviews (9)

As stated in our reply to Mr***, unfortunately FCA does not offer an alternative color for the single or dual dvd system for the *** *** ***. Just to note, we personally delivered the unit to Mr ***'s home when it arrived at the dealership. Also, as stated to Mr***
we would be more than happy to have him return the dvd system for a refund. However, during negotiation, we agreed to split the cost of the dvd. If Mr*** would still like to return the dvd system, we would gladly refund him the $that he paid for the dvd player. We certainly appreciate Mr***'s patronage and hope that we can resolve this matter within the parameters of realityThank you

I am rejecting this response because:
I am expecting a full refund for the $1800.00. If you only give me the $915 back then you get off free and clear by not giving me the DVD player or the value like we agreed upon. The only resolution for the full value of $1800
Regards,

Thank you,

Review: On November 9th 2012 I purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 (vin [redacted]). At that time I requested a few things be fixed before I agree to purchase the truck. One of the things to be fixed was the air conditioner which was blowing warm air. All the other things were addressed at promised. When I picked up the truck the air was working at that time. I asked the Service Advisor [redacted] what the problem was an said it just had to be recharged.

Air conditioning units don't lose freon unless there is a leak. That threw a red flag up, but since winter was closing in an cold temperatures were coming I didn't have a chance to try it at a later time till late winter the following year, 2013. We had a warm spell, think is was march an tried the air and it was blowing warm air. I took it in to [redacted] an they put a die in to find the leak. After about a week it leaked out an I took it back so they could detect the leak. They Mechanic that was working on my truck said he couldn't find the leak so he recharged it again with die.

About a week later it started to blow warm air again so I returned to the dealership again so the could look at it. At that time they found what to be a leak coming from a discharge hose from condensor to evaporator. That was around April 2013.

I was never shown that there was a leak coming from there. In past repairs I was always shown what was broken an had to be fixed.

[redacted] told me it would cost $457.00 to fix. I talked to [redacted] an said the dealership would pay half if I would pay half. I agreed reluctantly to pay half. I shouldn't have to pay anything.

So they fixed it an I tried it a few weeks later when we got a warm spell. Once again it started to blow warm air. I took it back and they put more die in it. I drove it for a week an was blowing warm air again. They did what they said was a sniffer test and found, they said was a leak at the evaporator, which I was never shown that there was a leak. [redacted] came back with an estimate of $1,000 to fix it.

That is the problem I have. I shouldn't have to pay anything since it was never fixed properly in the beginning.

Sincerely

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Repaired right at no charge

I am rejecting this response because: This problem has nothing to do with a extended warranty offering. This has to do with a problem that was noticed before the sale was made an was told that it would be fixed when the truck was picked up. There seems to be a lack of communation between [redacted] and [redacted] an I'm the one that is suppose to pay for this??? The offer of the dealership to fix the problem came after they heard from me that I am looking into taking it some place else to fix. I don't like driving around without air conditioning so far for half the summer.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Since this was suppose to be sold as a truck in good condition, and the air conditioning was only detected not to be working one day after the sale is not my fault, since it was at the beginning of November. When I took the truck back after one week for the repairs that were agreed to, I told the service manager about the problem.

I had serious transmission problems with this same truck which I had fixed at my expense, because it was 6 months after the sale an knew the dealership was not responsible for the repairs.

I thought I was dealing with a reputable dealership that sold Good Pre-Owned Vehicles, and would want to make there customers happy and fix a problem that was there at the time of sale. Since this problem isn't getting resolved in a timely manner I will be taking my business elsewhere an will be telling my friends about my situation with the dealership. I'm done with this debate.
