I have requested a quote with work to be done in May of 2018..A contract was written and agreed upon to start the work 5/as planned..The contract was signed and a down payment made of $of which the total for the job was $The contractor did now show up as promised,as a matter of fact did not hear from until May 21, when he said he would start on May which was another no show or call.On June 1, I sent him a text requesting my money back or to start work within daysOn June he stopped by and said he would start June 7, again NO showJune he needed one more day and would see me early June ,,,You guessed it No show..He does not answer phone calls and his mail box is full so you can't leave a message...His name is Jeff ***
We signed a contract with Jeff back in the beginning of November for a basement remodel that was expected to take a month or so He started off working almost every day through Thanksgiving After Thanksgiving, he stopped showing up He did not respond to phone calls or text messages or show up at the job site for months Once we finally did reach him, he gave us an excuse and came back for 1-days here and there, but then was unreachable for weeks at a time again We have given him over $16,for supplies and labor, some of which have not made it inside our basement, and much of the labor is not done He has given us several dates that he was "sure" he would be done We are now stuck paying mortgages since this work still isn't done and we haven't been able to put this house on the market
