Save Alot Moving

This is not even a business! SCAM! They took advantage of one of our autistic adults who was moving, took a $50 deposit in cash to hold the date of the move, and never showed! She had to call our non-profit at the last minute to get help moving. SAD and DISGUSTING!

Total scam! This company was booked through *** and stole our money by never providing the service we paid for.

We confirmed the appointment over the phone and via text with "***" several weeks out, but he and his crew failed to show on the day of the move. We tried to call and text them for hours the day of the move and ultimately had to give up. In short, they stole our money. No way around it. This company needs to be reported and removed from ***.

NewMan Labor Services was found via ***, but the *** did not offer what was needed so they were contacted directly for a longer distance move. Their "company" touts being able to handle all sorts of moves, even out of state, so figured this wouldn't be that challenging to move an hour away.

*** (a.k.a. "***", the "owner" of NewMan Labor Services) got in touch and gave a quick, but hesitant, quote to do the move. The days that followed really showed how unprofessional they were, and borderline scam (if not actually one.) Was contacted one more time (late at night) before the move, asking to agree on an additional amount to cover costs, which was agreed to.

Communication basically dropped off entirely at this point, with little to no communication and no written quote being given despite being promised. Texts and calls get ignored.

The day of they were nowhere to be seen. No truck, no movers, no communication. We ended up having to contact from another number, which they answered and said they would be available for a moving job, but that they were in an accident at the moment.

The entire day passed, so we gave up and ended up renting a truck and moving and packing ourselves across the next few days, which was what we wanted to avoid due to the added stress and time involved.

To this day, the deposit was promised to be refunded, but never refunded. Do not trust these guys, don't give them a dime
