I am rejecting this response because: I did not purchase the corn chips for $- instead I had to go back into the store to find the $brand. I do not have the receipt. Still no commitment to a policy change banning the deceptive $for advertising. This is a waste of time because Lucky's is not committing to change their policy, just deflecting by acting like this is a one time thing rather than systematic rip-off of consumers

The customer's original contact to us was made through FacebookWe had no way to speak to him about this, so we sent a message through Facebook asking him to call us so that we can make this right for himThe store manager of our store in Sunnyvale then contacted us to say that the coupon he was

We appreciate this situation being brought to our attention. The exact date of purchase was not provided therefore this matter was researched to the best of our ability based on the information provided in the complaint. The customer complained that he was charged

After notification of the customer's complaint the store checked the display immediately. There were two signs found advertising particular brands of snack products and tortilla Chips. One sign read for $and for different items the second sign read for $5.00. The store confirmed that the cost to purchase one of these advertised items should have been $or $respectively.
Further when an offer requires the minimum purchase of multiple items for qualification of a sale price it would be noted on the display and any signage as well
We appreciate the customer's patronage and invite him to bring his receipt to the store and give the store the opportunity to review and correct as necessary.Thank you

The Save Mart Companies appreciates our customer bringing an issue to our attention. After reviewing our policies with our Elk Grove store, store management looked at every Boost drink on the shelf and made sure all product has not expired. We apologized to this customer and have issued a gift card...

to her, enabling her to replace her drink. We will work diligiently to make sure this doesn't happen again.

The Save Mart Companies had [redacted], Senior Director of Customer Experience for District 4, call Ms. [redacted]. He addressed all of her concerns to her satisfaction, including more training for our employees both at the store level and customer service level. She is satisfied with her response.

Review: In Savemart's weekly flyer for the week of Oct. X-X XXXX there is an add for flu shots which follows: "Flu shots are now available for $27.99. When you get your flu shot, receive a coupon for $10 off your next $30 purchase. After I received a flu shot on Oct. 7 at their pharmacy I was told that since I have Medicare insurance Medicare would be billed for it. I was told I was ineligible for the coupon because Medicare was being billed. Since I pay Medicare for the insurance I don't see why I shouldn't receive the coupon. There is also nothing in the ad which indicates Medicare policy holders are ineligible for their coupon. I want them to mail me the coupon they owe me.

Thank you for taking the time to contact both Revdex.com and Save Mart Supermarkets Corporate Office to explain the issue that occurred on October 7, 2013. We regret any inconvenience, however, due to the Anti-Kickback Statute (42 USC 1320a-7b(b)) we are prohibited from being able to offer anything of value to induce or reward referrals or generate Federal Health Care programs business. This includes Medicaid and Medicare.

It is our normal practice to include this disclaimer on our pharmacy ads and any coupons offered. We regret this was omitted from the ad and have made the necessary corrections. We have sent the customer an apology letter and a $10 gift card for any inconvenience this may have caused.
