serving the Corpus Christi, Texas community for over yearsSeaside and I are committed to being the most professional and highest quality funeral home servicess organization in our industry and communityThe concepts, philosophies, and practices in serving? our families have always been ethical, informative, professional, compassionate, caring, and fairPerforming to the highest of standards and customer service is important to us, and we take the complaint seriouslyIn the complaint, the client family member alleges that (1) it took six months to get a grave marker, (2) the pink lithographic ink on the grave marker is fading, and (3) there were lawnmower tracks on the grave marker one (1) Seaside does not build or construct grave markersSeaside works with client families to design appropriate gave markers and then sends the designs to a third party companyIt is typical for grave markers and other memorials to take months to build and deliver for installationIn the instant complaint, the design was not finalized until several months after the client family member's loved one passed, and then the grave marker had to be builtThe first grave marker delivered by the third party company needed to be corrected, and that took additional timeSeaside understands that client family members want a marker as soon as possible, but the process does take time and Seaside worked diligently to get this particular grave marker completed.(2)? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? During the process of the grave marker in question, the client family requested pink lithography on certain portions of the grave markerSeaside told the client family explicitly that the pink lithography would fade once exposed to weatherGrave markers are exposed to the elements, and colors, including black fadeBrighter colors, like pink, fade more dramaticallySeaside understands that the client family wanted the pink to be more permanent, but the client family was cautioned multiple times that the pink would fade(3)? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Seaside's rmaintenance crew works tirelessly to make the cemetery as serene and beautiful as possible for all client families and friendsThis requires mowing the grassSeaside maintenance staff hard to avoid driving over grave markers, but every now and then do catch the edge of a gave marker with the tires of riding mowersIn the matter in question, there were tire tracks over a part of the grave markerWhen informed that thisS happened, Seaside staff immmediately worked to clean the grave marker, and the cleaning was done the same daySeaside is committed to its client families and to honoring the deceasedTo this end, the suggestion that Seaside has an "utter disrespect" for the deceased is unfair and unfoundedBut, Seaside also understands the emotional significance of the work it does, and, as always, takes into consideration complaints from client family membersSeaside will continue working with its maintenance crew to to avoid any future fire marks on gave markers from grass mowing operations, Seaside has worked at length with the complaining client family to make Seaside the perfect resting place for their loved oneBecause performing to the highest of standards and customer service is important to us, we certainly hope that the client family knows how committed we remain to helping them honor their loved oneSeaside will reach out to the third party grave marker company to see if that company has any other options for the client family, although Seaside again cautions that all coloring on gave markers fade with time
