Insurance policy that includes an SR-22 or FR-44 filing, insurance companies are required by law to report to Virginia [redacted] when a lapse in coverage occurs. On 9/17/2014, one day after this client submitted the request to cancel his [redacted] policy, [redacted] reported to Virginia [redacted] that this cflent's auto policy was cancelling effective 9/30/2014.
For any person that Is required by Virginia [redacted] to carry an FR-44 filing, it is that person's responsibility to ensure that [redacted] is notified of any vehicle or Insurance carrier changes.
If this client or his new insurance carrier had provided [redacted] with a copy of the new FR-44 filing issued by the new insurance carrlor prior to the [redacted] policy requested cancellation date of 9/30/2014, his licence would not have been suspended.

It is proof of deception ,on there part . Poor customer service .Only want information only to this point . Not interested in any offers or settlements .

Review: When I decided to change insurance company's, this company notified [redacted]I had no coverage .When the policy was still active My policy expired 09/30/2014 .I was surprised to find my license was suspended. My new company and [redacted] found out I was covered .I was told by [redacted] it is illegal for this to have been done.Desired Settlement: For information only
