SMH was unable to complete building of a single family home within 1 year as promised. A termination contract to dissolve original contract was drawn up by SMH, but they have failed to reimburse money owed as well as services as agreed upon by myself and SMH. Money given to SMH was used on other projects and mismanaged. Project had many flaws, was not done correctly, and cheap material was being used.Desired SettlementI would like services promised to be completed and money promised to be refunded.Business Response Mr. [redacted] was never given a time line of completion. He signed a contract with Savoie Modular 8/27/2013 for approximately $273,000.00. To my knowledge, he was approved for $235,000.00. Because Mr. [redacted] did not have the money for the full deposit of $41,066.76, Savoie Modular was given a partial deposit of $10,000.00 on 9/10/13. Site work was started prior to the deposit being received. On or about 11/21, Mr [redacted] stated again that he did not have money, chose to purchase his own materials and Savoie Modular allowed him to revise his contract. After a meeting, on 6/20/14, Mr. [redacted] said he wanted to part ways and wanted over $16,000.00 returned. To simply end the relationship, SMH agreed to $8600.00.On 9/15 Mr. [redacted] went to the Boylston Police Dept to press criminal charges against Savoie Modular. We have been working with both the Police and the DA to resolve the issue. I have attached the correspondence from the Police that states the Police and DA feel that SMH should obtain a lawyer to file suit against Mr. [redacted] for breach of contract. Thank-you,Lauri [redacted]Savoie Modular Homes, Inc.XXX-XXX-XXXXP / XXX-XXX-XXXXFConsumer Response There has been no resolution, I did not want to go back and forth with them posting complaints. They did state they owe me money in their response, but did not state they would pay and made insinuations that they would sue me for breach of a contract, when in fact we had both mutually ended the contract. These are the games they have been playing. If you could call me back and let me know if you spoken with them as I have reached out to them asking about the payments but they only said they were now working with the Revdex.com and would not answer my question.
