Review: I had booked Savory for my wedding unfortunately we had to postpone till 09/2015. In November 2014 we had to cancel our wedding due some family issues. I contacted [redacted] 10 months before our date on 11/29/14. She did not respond so I emailed her again on 12/6/14. [redacted] finally responded on 12/8/14 saying she would speak to [redacted] about getting my deposit back and that we would email me back in a week. I did not hear from [redacted] at all so I emailed her again regarding my deposit on 1/13/15 and 1/19/15. [redacted] did not respond back till 1/20/15 when she finally mention their cancelation policy. [redacted] said the the policy was not to issue a refund until the date could be rebooked and that she would contact me in a week. She did not do this so I emailed her on 2/6/15 and I explained how she did not menton this cancelation policy when I did the initial booking. The policy was not on any invoice, contract, or mention in any phone or email conversation. I told her that I did not agree to these terms since she failed to mention it when I booked. [redacted] did not respond and I sent another email on 2/16/15 and 2/17/15. [redacted] finally contacted me on 2/17/15 with an agreement of a refund that [redacted] would take care of by credit back or check on Friday 2/20/15. I contacted her on 2/18/15 with my card information after initial picking the check option. There was a typo with my card information and I sent her 3 emails correcting it which she did not respond too. I then emailed her several times on 2/19/15 and 2/20/15 asking about the status of my refund. [redacted] finally responded and said she was leaving at 4pm that, was waiting for [redacted] to give the okay, and would contact me on Monday. I emailed her and pointed out that she had explicitly said [redacted] would take care of it Friday 2/20/15 which they lied about. I am very disappointed and frustrated with their lack of communication and fraudulent contracts. They withheld my refund on my deposit for months based on a policy that they never informed me of when I initial booked them. There was no mention of the policy at any time until the email from [redacted] on 01/20/15.Desired Settlement: I just want my deposit refunded to me. I did not agree to the cancelation policy since it was not mentioned during our contract signing. I gave them 10 months noticed of my cancelationwhich I believe is ample time.
