We received this customer referral from Mrs [redacted] ’s good personal friend that is employed at a [redacted] ***At the time of the referral we were informed that Mrs [redacted] was in need of a contractor to repair damages from a fireMrs [redacted] had just “fired” the current contractor We spoke to Mrs [redacted] , provided an estimate and it was agreed we would accept the job and she accepted our termsThe previous contractor, was fired after collecting the $17,for work he had agreed to doAt that time, we were told that the previous contractor that Mrs [redacted] mentions in her complaint did have to request the police meet him there as well upon firing to deliver Mrs [redacted] ’s items due to the volatile relationship that was happening between the contractor and Mrs [redacted] , and to include Mrand Mrs [redacted] had an active restraining order against each otherMr [redacted] was met with separately, to sign the contract and mistakenly signed in an incorrect placeTherefore an identical second copy was provided to resign in correct placesThe contract is dated 12/26/Mrand Mrs [redacted] had to be met with at a separate locations for all signings die to they had an active restraining order against each other during this timeThe contract does state all work to be provided as well as an itemized breakdown on the work areas and total costsWe began all work at signing of contract without requesting a down paymentMrand Mrs [redacted] had a check that was given to us that was made to them directly and the Mortgage coWe were informed that Mr [redacted] removed Mrs [redacted] ’s name from the insurance policy and claim, therefore a new check would be provided if we returned the original check they had with both their names on it along with proper documentation from our business that the mortgage company requiredThe original check was fated 11/28/We started work towards the end of December without any deposit of checks toward the contractAlso, we have text to reflect Mrs [redacted] requesting us to start the end of DecemberBy the time all necessary paperwork, and the return of the original check that included Mrs [redacted] ’s name, and with the removing of Mrs [redacted] that Mr [redacted] did, we could not initiate a payment from the mortgage company directly until January 9, The check was then supplied to us and was made payable to: Mr [redacted] and Savy Holdings, LLCMr [redacted] endorsed the new (2nd check) check willingly and it was deposited on January 19, Prior to that there were no funds paid to us by the [redacted] ’sWe had already started carpeting and painting before any payment was able to be deposited due to Mrs [redacted] ’s request that we start immediately because she wanted to sell the homeWe noticed immediately that Mrs [redacted] was sharing all of her personal business with several of the employees whenever she would be at the home or via many many text messagesWe found these messages and conversation extremely concerning and out of lineOn several occasions we requested Mrs [redacted] to please only communicate with us about the job not on the personal marriage, [redacted] **With the active restraining order it was extremely difficult to communicate with both parties and have them agree on many items at handWe do have a text from [redacted] and [redacted] where we requested to Mrs [redacted] please stop sharing this informationWith the difficulty of not knowing which [redacted] to communicate with, and the active restraining order this was becoming more concerningTherefore, we created a sign-off sheet that Mrand Mrs [redacted] signed off and date upon approval of workmanship, choices of colors, grades of specific necessary items each time to move forward to complete the job according to the contractWe had to apply for permits before any structural work started, the permit was applied for on January 5, At that time, we did determine the previous contractor had applied, however never paid for permitWe had to start the process all over for the necessary permit for the scope of work we were committed to doAt that time, [redacted] Building Division stated on permit “homeowners are not permitted to be at premises during construction.” This was not up to us, this was the building permitPlease note, the building inspector has met with us at the property and signed off in approval of any work we have performed to dateWe also witnessed Mrs [redacted] yelling at the building inspector that some work was not done legally and he corrected her and informed her all work he signed off on was completed to his complete satisfactionThe building inspector assured her that to date all necessary work was completed according to the building permit codes in [redacted] She continued to yell at him and accuse that our work was not done correctlyThis is also what she had done about the previous contractor to usTo my knowledge Mrand Mrs [redacted] were both staying in hotelsMrs [redacted] stated her insurance company would no longer cover it and asked for assistanceAt that time, [redacted] worked with Mrs [redacted] and the insurance company, to obtain a new hotel to continue their stay longer [redacted] and Mrs [redacted] worked along fineMrs [redacted] insisted on several times to be at the home while workers were there [redacted] did state that was not appropriate with the permit and also with the personal information about her marriage and private personal/family issues she would share with the employeesMrs [redacted] at that point did not like to speak to ***However, she continued to text him dailyAt no point, has [redacted] *** [redacted] ***That is completely falseMrs [redacted] was informed many times she could not be at the home when we were present as per the building permit statesMrs [redacted] also was very upset one day when Mr [redacted] wanted to stop by to get a personal itemMrs [redacted] was extremely upset and cursed that with the restraining order he was not allowed and it was our responsibilityWe should never be put in the place that Mrs [redacted] tried numerous times to put us in about her husbandWe informed Mrs [redacted] at all times of the progress of the work as well as, [redacted] informed the insurance company very oftenThey also informed us Mrs [redacted] was not even on policy and she calls them numerous times a dayWe continued to work to the best of our ability with the active restraining order and the strange behavior and tempers that came from Mrand Mrs [redacted] bothPertaining to the electrical bill, all homeowner’s are aware they are responsible for their utilities at any timeWe only informed Mrs [redacted] possibly the insurance may cover some or all of thisWe also informed Mrs [redacted] if the electric was not turned on this may result in us needing to use a generator and that they would be accountable for the cost of $per dayAgain, this became a fight between the [redacted] ’s, because Mrs [redacted] accused Mr [redacted] of having the service turned off and it was only in his nameOn President’s day, Mrs [redacted] became upset that the painter was not there and at that time informed [redacted] we were firedWith that we had tried to reach out to Mr [redacted] to continue work but Mrs [redacted] denied us thatWe continued to receive many out of the line text from Mrs [redacted] , even though she ended the contractWe informed her we are still working on itemizing everything and would determine final cost of work done to date, and material purchased and any material returned to homeownersMarch and after she filed this complaint she still text about anythingFinally they requested this past weekend that we drop off purchased windows and pick up sidingWe agreedOn March 14, 2018, [redacted] and his crew arrived at property with the police due to the behavior we have encounteredMrs [redacted] denied to take the windows and said we could not take the sidingShe stated she wanted a different siding, even though on 1/24/18, she and Mr [redacted] agreed on siding grade and color and new it was being purchasedThe police informed us we could not do anything, and that they are aware of this address, and have been to the home approxtimes in the past year, and best if we would just leave [redacted] and his crew had to endure yelling and screaming and finally leftWe are in the middle of closing out this contract and due to the materials Mrs [redacted] does not want to receive, and any materials she wants to return to us, this is making it very difficult for the final invoice [redacted] did receive a text from Mrs [redacted] if we could please print up an invoice stating everything was completed, so she could obtain the final $14,from the insurance claimTo my knowledge, that would be insurance fraudWe are appalled that she would ask us that as that would be fraudOur contact is for: $51,as of to date we have received $36,We do hope that after your final investigation, possibly with [redacted] Building Permits, the Insurance Company, Mortgage Co, and [redacted] Police Department, you will deem us not at any fault, and these accusations are and unfoundWe have never received a complaint from your BureauIn spite of, the restraining order and us being the second contractor, that you find we did everything possible to please the [redacted] sI done believe you will find a contractor that could deal with all of this and please themDuring the time frame of the entire time, we were told to only speak to Mrs [redacted] , then it was Mr [redacted] we could only speak toHowever it was challenging to speak and/or meet with them both at any timeMrs [redacted] however continued to text all up to dateAfter her husband informed us to only contact him and she was aware of his wishesWe do have copies of the signed contracts, approval sign-offs for specific work and material, as well as many text if you should find you need more information to find these claims and find there is no reason to post such complaint against Savy Holdings, LLC at this timeWe also would like to note, we installed new carpeting to the basement area after they encountered a flood due to a pipe issue they had, and this had nothing to do with the fire damage repairWe did this to help the home-ownersWe also purchased an additional window that was not in contract they agreed they wanted to allow the new window to match the otherOur intentions were never to charge the home-owner for the carpet labor not labor cost for the additional window they choseFrom the very beginning we wanted to complete this job according to the greatest satisfaction to our customerHowever, hopefully without response in hand and any other witnesses or documentation you should need, you will find there was no way we could have ever satisfied the [redacted] ’sWe also our requesting that our attorney reach the [redacted] ’s and inform them of a cease and dismiss letterWe have determined that our personal and business names are being slandered via text, the home supply store, and the internet Thank you, [redacted] ***
