Review: We called the company for Air Conditioning service on Saturday, Sep 21, 2013. SHAC (Sawyers Heating Air Conditioning) came and gave all the recommendations. As a good gesture towards a small business, we paid them in full by a check ($1,375) hoping they could provide prompt service as they promised for coming in next morning to fix the problem. SHAC did not show up at all saying that they needed to order a part and promised next day (Tuesday). At that time, they had cashed the check. On Tuesday, SHAC did not show up again saying they were having too many calls. During this period of time, we called them many times, nobody at SHAC answered the phone. Finally we got hold of them in the Wednesday morning, SHAC promised again that they were coming to the house to do the job (as they also said they had everything needed to do the job). AGAIN, SHAC did not show up again, we had a person waiting in the house whole day. Up to today (Thursday), no phone calls from SHAC explaining reasons.

Review: 05/15/13 Original service 29.95 + 4lbs R22 Freon- Second service agreed & quoted 59.95 service call + 80lb R-22 Freon-Unit only hold 4.13lbs freon-tech said based on temp unit took 7 lbs-max for paid -30 4.13 lbs freon-freon is liquid & temp has no bearing on volume- so over charge 3lbs @80lb. Charged 2hr labor when service call $59.95! Credit card given for payment received over 7 calls about card & payment which was finally charged by company August 2013. Our agreement was for company to return @ no charge to recheck to see if leak sealant worked. Between 9/3/13 & 9/10/13 (5) appointments scheduled & no showed 5 times with no call. 3 days of my time wasted.Desired Settlement: Pay back overcharge of $330.05 which was overcharged and lied to by tech on volume. Fraud!

Review: Double payment

Sawyer repaired my home air conditioner 5/8/2012, I paid with check [redacted] $364.80 which was paid by my bank 5/11/2012. All was fine until 5/13/2013 when the same check number re-cleared my bank causing a double payment. I contacted the company by phone for a refund, and have not received it. When I called, the person on the phone said this had happened to several other people and they were making refunds.Desired Settlement: I am seeking $364.80 refund, and any bank fees this withdrawal will cause if any. I expect to be paid immediately.

Review: On 11-08-10 they install a ac and heater unit..Came out for a 2 year check up on 11-21-12. Its time for another 2 year check. We paid in advance $1690 for total of 20 visit.. I can not get in touch with anybody. ALL numbers are disconnect. I want my money back.. Please and thank you!Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund my $1690. I want them to pay the bill for the service of another company that now has to come out..

Review: Review: We purchased a service agreement for 2 visits a year for 5 years and paid $235. A service appointment has been schedules and cancelled 3 times.

I had service agreement for continued bi yearly service for 5 years on heating/air conditioner they instlled. Paid 235. They scheduled an appointment for the winter and cancelled 3 times, and have not rescheduled. I have called several times and there has been no return call since. I understand that the partners may be splitting up and would like for them to honor our agreement or give me a full refund.Desired Settlement: 235.00 full refund

Review: We purchased a warranty/maintenance program for our AC/heat systems (both installed by Sawyers). they have not come out to do the maintenance. We would like our money back.Desired Settlement: We would like our $175 that we paid for the maintenance program refunded to us.

Review: In August 2013 I renewed my three year maintenance service contract with Sawyers for my heating and air conditioning units, paying $648.00 for the three years. This was a discounted cost because I was a return customer. To date I am unable to contact the business or owner, Weston Sawyers, and have not received the agreed upon service.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund of the money spent on the contract. I have no desire to continue doing business with Sawyers.

Review: warranties not honoreod of free maintance for two years cant get a hold of them

we had our ac and furnace installed on 5/1/12 called in September they said they were going to make an appot for November cancelled then I called in December they said they were no longer doing semi annual maintance but annually and they would call in may(I year since install) unless the product was not working properly it was fine so we said ok.didnt call waited till july no answer.finally called againg in November all the numbers listed on my contract aare disconnected.whats going on they are out of service? what will happen to my warranty?Desired Settlement: I just want them to honor my contract if not to refund me since my warranty will no longer be valid?

Review: Not answering calls, paid them $380 for extended warranty (3 more years, 2013, 14& 15 of maintainance). I need to find out what to do!

Bought an air condition unit from them through [redacted] $6800 on November 2009 and last May they (sawyers) called and told me that in order for the warranty (10 years) for this unit, that I needed to keep the maintenance service to date & that I needed to do that before my next appt. I wrote a check for the amount of $380 and have not heard from them since. They are now not answering their phones and for about 5 months I was leaving messages with an aswering services. [redacted] is telling me that they are NOT resposible for this if I wrote the check to Sawyers, even if I wrote on the bottom of the check that it was for extended service of an airconditioning unit purchase through [redacted]Desired Settlement: For Sawyers to return my money, or for [redacted] to honor this contract with new company they are now using for airconditioning services.

Review: Sawyer's Heating & Air Conditioning (contractor for [redacted] installs) installed an AC/Heating unit three years ago on our house. Installation was great and employees were very courteous and cleaned everything up after finishing install. My problem with the company started when you could get in touch with them for the maintenance as stated in the agreement which was for free maintenance for two years @ one visit per year. Phone numbers are all disconnected that are listed on the agreement. The AC unit stopped working yesterday and with some research I found a Derek Sawyer's Heating and Air Conditioning which covers the same service areas and is the same has the company that installed our AC unit. It seems to be the same company just re-branded with a new name and they are refusing to come out for a service call for the AC unit they installed. I talked to [redacted] in the service department and she stated it would be a $59.99 fee for diagnostic check, I stated no problem, but when she found out it was the old company name she stated they no longer serviced our area. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were in a meeting and would call back. No call backs have been received. I have called twice since this incident and have been disconnected both times when service department answers and I start to explain the situation. Sawyer's is refusing to service the equipment they install and are cheating customers by basically re-branding the company so they don't have to be responsible for their work and/or service calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, very unprofessional after install.Desired Settlement: Restitution of cost to have another contractor respond for service call on non-working AC unit. Sawyer's should be responsible for the equipment they install.
